If theyres one thing i've learned about athletes (and in this case coaches) misbehaving, its that winnning breeds forgiveness. If Rex wins the superbowl, the foot stuff will be a mere afterthought mentioned only by bitter pats fans. Ron artest was one of the most hated/ridiculed players in all of sports. One three pointer in the finals and he gets a story in numerous magazines praising him for his stark turn-around. If rex brings new york a ring, nothing else matters anymore. He knows it too.

Actually, I've met Mike at the studio in the past and gone toe-to-toe with him on his anti-Jet bias. Not the current version, but the mid-1990's with his rants against Hess, Gutman, etc.

Alot of what he says is schtick for ratings. He does believe it but not to the extent you think.

most people could care less whether rexy's wife takes it in two holes or all three. admittedly putting it on the net was assnine, but if rex doesn't mind having the wife all over the net taking it in the ass from bubba, then why should football fans care. the media will be the media, anything for a story!:eek:hmy::rofl::shit:

Wouldn't it be nice to have the best of both worlds -- a Bellichick/Ryan merge -- you would have Bellicheck's gameplan brilliance and experience with Rex's ability to motivate and personality (maybe toned down a bit from 10 to 5). Would make for an awesome coach.

I think Rex is a good X's and O's coach and Belichick is OVERRATED in that regard. Remember, this is Rex's 1st HC job. Belichick was a disaster in his 1st HC job, looking good only compared to Hanley and the NYG (who beat him out for the job).

So much of the Pats success is Tom Brady....when you have a QB like that you can take chances on both the O and D.....and don't underestimate luck (the "Tuck" rule) and cheating (the videotaping; remember: the Eagles offensive linemen said right after the Super Bowl that they had never seen anything like it - "like they had our playbook" -- as they guessed right time after time on slants and O-line movements, etc).

that bolded quote above shows how little you really know about football or anything else for that matter.

belichick is a brilliant guy on and off the field. he's not considered a genius simply because of football (which he absolutely is) but belichick is an extremely intelligent individual away from the football field. if you ever did any reading would would not have come to such a moronic conclusion.

i'm sure belichick has forgotten more than you have ever known in your lifetime. dumbest post of the year. read a book, even if you have to start at the second grade level and work your way up from there.

You are out of your mind.

That entire organization, including the GM, functions on Beli's brain.

    He's f*ng brilliant.

However...he's transparent if you choose to evaluate what he's doing.
