Whether you have a literal hangover, or a metaphorical hangover of regrouping from the finish of the game itself, how is your Sunday going so far? Skies are blue, the sun is out in Brooklyn right now. I have some errands to run right now, and then I'll be home to relax and watch the Wild Card games, with an easy mind knowing the Jets played already.
Pretty heavy snow here in St.Andrews but sky is blue and the outlook is sunny! Man I love getting business done early and watching football Sunday without having to reach for the indigestion tabs. We are going to be nailed on for the Sunday night game next week so better enjoy it.
Fun time in The District. My scrambled eggs tasted a little better than usual, mostly due to the large serving of Manningface I had last night. New England delenda est.
Also in Brooklyn in a super good mood. Being extra nice to my girlfriend. There was a time last night during the game I thought I'd be beating her ass most of the night and today in a drunken rage, but glad I can make her breakfast in bed instead. Go Jets!
It's so relieving watching these Sunday games knowing the Jets won. I remember watching the the Saints vs Vikings games last year, it was so hard to watch. It helped me get over the Colts loss but it was a miserable experience for a VERY Great NFC Championship game.
After Folk made the winning field goal I was too cranked up to sleep. So, a bourbon and water plus a beer to relax me I went to bed and slept like a baby. No hangover and I am primed for two more football games today. Allentown Ernie.
Haha I went to bed around 2:30. I watched the SNY post game till midnight. Then watched ESPN. Then SNY had some Geico Show at 1 watched that, then watched ESPN again. The hours were flying. I went to bed and then woke up at 7:30 not tired at all. Altho I was confused as hell, I was like wait the Jets won yesterday.
While I enjoyed going to the local WaWa and seeing the back pages of the sunday papers i'm rather subdued in victory. While i'm obviously thrilled to death with the victory i'm just looking at it like we're 1-0 with 3 games left in a 4 game season. With Brady up next and Flacco/Rapelesberger/Cassel/Rodgers/Vick/Hasselbeck all as possible opponents standing in our way,the pit in my stomach is still there.
Enjoying the sports news today. 1050 radio and ESPN TV are just a little more tolerable to listen/watch. Can't wait to hear Fatty's rant on Monday.
I feel great, enjoying watching all of the "experts" eat crow for picking against us. I especially love how these idiots on NFL Gameday all picked Indy except for one... my man Marshall. He's the only one with any kind of knowledge on that show. He always has our back for some reason, the rest are haters. That said, its still the best Sunday morning show.
i got blitzed last night. was kissing random chicks and goin wild. jack daniels and the jets: a winning combination
I had work at 5:30am. So yeah, not much sleeping went on for me last night. I remember asking myself at like 2am: When Bill Bellichick is coaching the Patriots, who is running hell? And laughing to myself. haha.
got too drunk after the jets win and puked. woke up this morning and had a chicken enchilada and diarrhea'd it out. now im drinking a sprite zero.
King Brady and Your Highness Belichick Look at that FLIP on ESPN.com. What a joke! That epitomizes your team so well; you're excited about a Wild Card game. Are you kidding me? Your head coach can't shut up. Brady and Belichick laugh at your celebrations. You win by a point and you'd think you're Super Bowl champs. Or 3 Super Bowls. Wait, King Brady and Your Highness Belichick have done that, yet neither have ever flipped in the air. Can you imagine? Now, bow to the KING and YOUR HIGHNESS. Or, do so next Sunday! PATS RULE!
