He's the one who kept calling for Fischer to mend fences with Young. According to the tennesse papers Young was like a son to Adams.

It must have been a tough call for him. Everyone expected him to take Young over Fischer...

Watch haynesworth end up back with the Titans...

i guess vince young is a massive asshole, and a big pussy.

pretty sad, because kenny britt is legit, chris johnson, and a scrappy defense. titans she be a 9 win team.

    New England.

Belly has been waiting for an opportunity to add the wildcat to his stable.

Given that I can see how that would be a tough decision. I think he made the right one though for the good of the organization. I would never make a good business person in this sport. I just have too much emotion invested in certain players at times.

I think the problem is Young is a good guy. Does good stuff in the community etc... But his lack of wanting to work on his craft and put the extra time in to be great has turned off fischer.

Maybe someone else can get that out of him.

I think the problem is that V.Young gets all butthurt when the fans get on his case.

The guy has skills...but he's lacking the demeanor and maturity required to be a professional in the NFL.

You can teach maturity; you can't teach the kind of skills that Young has.

I think that the Titans are making a good decision because Young's clearly worn out his welcome in Tennessee, but some team is going to take a chance on this guy and get rewarded in a serious way.

    Oh for sure...I agree.

He'll catch on with another team.....but it's not like the Titans didn't try....they gave him numerous chances to "grow up" per se......and he failed miserably.

It wouldn't surprise me if he ended up with the Vikings.

And the decision may cost the coach his job if they are a major fail next season.
