I want new England. I don't care how we get it done...but I want New England. It's time we get that monkey off our back once and for all.
The road will probably be IND, NE and PIT. Those are the AFC teams of the last decade, with 6 rings, 8 appearances between them. If we're to become a power, this is the road we must travel. There's something poetic about it. Something right about exorcising our demons should we get through this road. There's IND, which ended our run last year. There's PIT, which ended our second closest run in 2005. And of course, there's NE, the king of all our demons, for so many reasons. If we get through this, it will be the start of a new dynasty. If not, this season will go down in failure. There really isn't anything in between. As sports fans, this is what we live for. The chance at glory, though it comes at the risk of utter humiliation. Will we make it? I certainly hope so. If we do, it'll be on the level of the Red Sox exorcising their demons by beating the Yanks and perhaps that dramatic. Regardless, this is the best time to be a fan. With all the hope of the future, anticipating the glory, but also dreading the humiliation.
If we beat Indy we're getting New England, so it's there to be done if we can do it. If you're going through the AFC those are the familiar stops, along with Pittsburgh, so let's have at it.
Enjoy wondering who your QB and HC will be, as usual. Just think, if you were in the NFC West you might have a chance to play meaningful games. I love that you were knocked out by the Bills. LMAO The same team our backups destroyed yesterday.
Yes sir! Me too. I'm usually pessimistic but with all the conventional wisdom coming to mind about how Manning will dice our secondary outside of Revis and Cromartie and how NE is such a powerhouse they cannot be stopped, I feel we can beat them both for some reason. Same thing a few weeks ago against Pittsburgh, after 2 TERRIBLE games everybody thought a Dick Lebeau defense with Polomalu would terrorize Sanchez and we'd get embarassed. I felt it in my bones that we would win that game, and we did.
Same with Leonhard and Smith. Sanchez played hurt that whole game too. We all realize how Troy helps your team but we had a damn good gameplan and Troy can not be everywhere. Stopping making you excuses, your defense won't be the problem in the playoffs.
NYJ 2011 REVENGE Tour ... ... Brought to you by Gene Simmons - God of Thunder. Come see if the NYJ are Hotter Than Hell or if their QB will Lick It Up.
...and so was Heath and Aaron Smith. Who cares? Who's making excuses? I simply stated Troy wasn't in the game replying to someone who clearly thought he was. And you can quit acting like the Jets had this remarkable game plan. They won on a ST TD run back and a safety. One offensive TD is not a remarkable game plan. Please.
I hope your car does too.. ANYWAYS, we can beat Indy. If anytime is the time, this Saturday is the time.. After we get New England, which is seemingly impossible, because they are playing the best.
