The only oblivious people in this thread are the ones coming in to say who gives a fuck we talk shit too. This thread was not made to bitch about the chiefs fans talking shit.
I know I was coming in earlier stirring the pot in here...But on the real...Both teams have their weaknesses. The winner will depend on who successfully exploits that weakness..For the Chiefs, it has been problems covering the TE, so look for Keller to have a good day..Our linebackers have issues on pass coverage and Eric Berry is'nt up to form yet on pass coverage assignments..As for the Jets, it's the D-line. They have shown signs of having problems stopping the run. Which happens to be the Chiefs strongpoint.
For some reason everytime someone on the Jets is failing and they get called out they do well, I'm praying that happens to the D
I want the Jets to play Kansas City and in an argument between me and you, my opinion is the only one that matters. What does that tell us? It tells us that every-fucking-body in the playoffs wants to play the team with: 1. A pile of dog shit for a schedule. 2. A quarterback with absolutely zero playoff experience. The Jets are ready for your one-man receiving corps. I'll take Darrelle Revis over Dwayne Bowe any day of the week.
in the AFC I think every team would want to play the Chiefs first. Take that as disrespect. This is the same situation WE were in last year, and look how that turned out. The Bengals pulled their starters in the 2nd quarter during the 37-0 win to get in last year, and look what happened? They let us in, and they lost @ home. I don't see how any team in the AFC playoff scenario would NOT want the Chiefs first.
I just quoted someone from YOUR OWN TEAM that said they would rather play at Indy than play at KC. But you want to ignore that, so fine. It's not Bowe you should be worried about, the Jets secondary is pretty solid. I would be more worried about Jamaal Charles, he can turn the corner very fast and I think the Jets will have a lot of trouble trying to slow him down.
I see what you're saying. The Jets are a classy team and I wish you guys a lot of luck, except the first round that is lol.
I guess my point is, on the road I would not be so confident, but at home the Chiefs have been nearly unbeatable. Especially the defense. We've given up something like 12 PPG this season at home, which is phenominal.
The Jets are top five team against the run. We're not the Denver Broncos or the Oakland Raiders or any of the other garbage teams on KC's schedule.
Against shit teams, we held playoff teams to that, Pats 14 points, Ravens 10 points, Packers 9 points, Steelers 17 points, just saying- It's also a good thing we are one of the best road teams in the league.
Jamaal Charles running-style reminds me of that of Chris Johnson's. Very fast to the outside and very elusive between the tackles. We've done well containing guys like that before.
So ahhh - Charlie Weis has taken the OC job at Florida. I wonder how much his heart is in this KC gig at this point.
I hope the Cheifs win today. At off all the teams in the playoffs that we could play there the team I would want. There only receiving threat is Bowe who would be going up against Revis all game. There strength is running the football and the strength of our D (albeit not recently) has been stopping the run. If we can stop the run we have a great chance of winning the game. Our offense looks like its also starting to click now.
