Well had the Jags won last Sunday. There would have been a real possiblity of not making the playoffs when Buffalo comes to the Meadowlands Sunday and puts the smackdown on yawl!
That is clearly not the case, as last year proved. Even after the Jets beat the Bengals and the Chargers in the playoffs (and were leading at halftime in the AFC Championship game) people were saying that it didn't really count because they only got in because the Colts and the Bengals didn't try the last two weeks of the season. I don't know if it's BS to get ratings and web hits, anti-Rex Ryan bias, anti-New York bias, or a combination of all three, but there isn't the slightest doubt that the Jets take far more unwarranted shots than any team I've ever seen.
At least your stupid enough to keep coming back here to entertain us. Usually after the first trolling failure guys like you disappear.
Wow, hypothetical trash talk from the fan of a team that is 4-11. It's nice to see that reality has no effect on your ridiculousness.
Your words are tough to read, please insert commas where needed. And change your flippity sig. You do know if the Jags can "back" there way into the playoffs an go further then the Jets, then technically Edwards had the better season as his team went further.
Take it easy on Kenny. After all, you're the one who started the "Do you shave your balls/cack/taint" thread in the BS forum, right?
Actually I'm pleased with our record. Puts us in a legit shot to trade up to Carolina to get Luck or daft Bowser. Best QB and best pass rusher to come out in decades.
Luck is the best prospect since P. Manning. Bowser will be the best pass rusher since the Bruc Smith, Reggie White days. We'll see who's wearing the superbowl ring at the end of the year.
So, 2009 Jets win 4 out of their last 5 games and they "back in" 2010 Jets start out 9-2 and "back in" the playoffs with a week to spare So what is the definition of backing in? Wins in September mean the same as wins in December.. Saints went into the postseason on a 3 game losing streak and won the Lombardi..
If Luck is the best QB prospect since Manning, why the hell would Carolina be willing to trade out of the #1 spot?
