I think neither, they just can't help it. They are glass-half-empty kind of people. They expect failure. Probably in their own lives as well.
too funny, i'm being called out by the king of whiners. i've clearly stated in the past that i had high hopes for rex, last year and early this season. over time, i've yet to see improvement by rex as a head coach and have my doubts he'll ever be head coach material. because i said what i truly believed, i got ganged up on and the name calling started by the very types such as ukilledkenny. all because i don't judge with green glasses on, but by stepping back and judging what i honestly see. so according to the poster that claims he smarter than the nitwits (ukilledkenny & friends) i'm not a jets fan. if anyone watched todays game, you've seen what i've been having my doubts about. rex is a GREAT defensive coordinator, but not head coach material. i believe what i see and not what i want to see. the only difference between myself and the name callers. i was never a herm believer, a mangenious believer, favre is god believer or a rex nut sack lover as has been the case with ukilledkenny and his ilk, and i've been right far more than any of those know it all's!

Your right guts. Message boards, I feel were made for people to express their opinions and vent. I guess I have no right to sit here and pass judgement on peoples opinions. I just feel it gets very old and the same people bitch and complain about why this team is never good enough. If we go by record alone we're an improved team from last yr. In that aspect coupled with another playoff appearance, I'm happy with the season so far. Of course I would hope the Jets win the super bowl every year. Is that likely to happen NO.

Exactly. Anything can happen once we make the playoffs. Our first goal is to make it to the playoffs, then divsion which is not possible at this point. Should we sit here and dwell about not winning the division? NO. Of course i would have liked a first round bye and at least one home playoff game, but ill take the playoffs and see where we can go from there.
The Jets have a shot at 11-5? This team would be lucky to be 11-5. And yes this Jet team backed into the playoffs again. They have no defense whatsoever to speak off, and they will likely be one and out in the post season. A real contender entering the month of December at 9-2, doesn't, DOESN'T GO 1-3 FOR THE DAMN MONTH AND BE EXPECTED TO BE SOME SORT OF PLAYOFF THREAT. This disgusting franchise has a nack for blowing their chances in December...and that Fat coach better start learning how to manage the damn clock better and stop wasting frigging timeouts. Maybe someone should create a game management video with feet, so this guy would understand when and when not to use timeouts.
Like i mentioned in my OP, I'm 32 yrs old. I cant remember how many times during my life time the Jets made back to back playoff appearances. With that said I'm happy with the season so far.
