&#%^$ing retarded carolina DB you can't run over the WR and not even look at the ball what a stupid play makes it first and goal at the 1
NFL Network can't be surprised by the brutal ratings they must be getting, with the scheduling of some of the worst matchups of the season.
What was it last week, SF @ SD? I mean we all thought SF would be halfway decent but that's a mismatch of epic proportions. This we all knew was gonna be a dogshit game, what were they expecting Cowher returning to his stomping grounds??
yeah, SF@SD last week. That game had a 10 point spread and this one had a 14 point spread. let's review: CIN@Jets: 8.5 point spread HOU@PHI: 8 point spread IND@TEN: 3.5 point spread SF@SD: 10 point spread CAR@PIT: 14 point spread bad team at good team every week but one
The fact an NFL team even drafted Claussen gave him more of a chance than he deserved. He is one of the worst quarterbacks I've ever seen.
Jimmy C is working with less than nothing in Carolina but I don't think he's even shown an iota of progress since becoming a starter. Not even a flash
He had some good offensive talent at Notre Dame and an offensive minded coach and he couldn't win there either. But forget talent, he just looks like an awful player.
I never watched him in college but he still ended up putting up good numbers despite not winning. I figured he was doing something right since he was getting rd. 1 consideration, albeit in a weak draft for QBs
He got number one consideration because some dipshit analysts kept preaching how he was "NFL Ready" when he's proven he's anything but.
But, but, but the "draft gurus" claimed Claussen would be great and be better than Sam Bradford. http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=55959 Somebody should bump that thread. I certainly did not see all of Claussen's college games, but with what I did see I was not impressed. He looked like a career NFL backup QB. I did not see any special qualities whether it be accuracy, footwork, intelligence, etc.
Are you actually trying to call someone out for giving his opinion on a fucking message board? WW85 is a hell of a poster. Why don't you bump it? I'll be sure to return the favor by bumping the pitcher's ass thread. I'm sure you'll report me at least seven times for it too. All this digging that you're doing lately is fucking retarded. What are you trying to prove? I don't know if stalking RichMiano gets you off or what, but what you're doing is pointless. Jimmy Clausen is in a horrible situation in Carolina: 1. Almost all of his receivers are rookies. ...and his "star" receiver has completely given up. If he's not getting the ball, he gives a lackluster effort. 2. Outside of Jordan Gross, his offensive line is complete trash. They can't pass block or run block. It's a mess. 3. The strength of their team (their backfield) has been banged up all season long. They have no running game 4. The entire coaching staff knows they're gone after this season. Who wants to play for a coach that's not going to be around? Nobody. I'm not trying to take all of the blame off of Clausen. He's had a piss poor season, but it's hard to be successful as a rookie quarterback with no blocking and an inconsistent running game. Sam Bradford has had a very surprising year. I thought he'd have trouble picking up a pro-style offense quickly and he proved me wrong. His health is still a major concern to me. I'm not trying to take anything away from him, but Bradford has a running game to lean on and he plays in the worst division in the NFL. Clausen doesn't have a crutch and he plays in arguably the best NFC division. Sam Bradford isn't exactly playing for the best franchise in football, but his current situation is much better than Clausen's. As far as I'm concerned, we won't know who the better player is until around 2013 or 2014. ...then you didn't see any of the games during his junior season. You like to look shit up, right? I'll throw some stats into this argument for you: As a junior, he threw for 3,722 yards with 28 TDs and 4 INTs. His completion percentage was 68%. ...great stats against great competition. Go ahead, use the "he had tons of talent around him" excuse. So did Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez, and Matt Stafford. No quarterback can have success without weapons. Notre Dame didn't win because their defense was horrific and Charlie Weis is a dumbass. There's absolutely no reason for a team to go 6-6 when its quarterback has the third highest passing efficiency rating in the country.
^ Couldn't have said it better. Just for fun, let's say Clausen came here and Sanchez was in Carolina. No one would write off Clausen in his first year if he were on a team with stability, rather than the shit situation he got in Carolina. He wasn't supposed to start this year. I don't know why they thought Matt Moore was a smart idea.
If the Panthers will indeed have the #1 pick will they stick with Clausen and maybe draft him a gift (A.J. Green) or do they go after a QB? If Luck declares I think there's a very good chance the Panthers say bye ye to Clausen... however I could see some team (Cincy?) giving a way A LOT just to go from #2 to #1 and select Luck.. that would be the best case scenario for Carolina imo.
How does getting AJ Green suck for Jimmy Clausen? All of the media outlets here in Charlotte seem to think a new regime means a new quarterback. I hope they take AJ Green and stick with Jimmy Clausen. I'd like to see what he can do with some help.
