The Giants gave the game away.
Punting to Jackson didn't cause them to lose. If the game had gone into OT, the Eagles would have won.

The Giants quit. With ten minutes to play and a 21 point lead, the Giants thought they had the game in the bag and they let up. By the time they realized that they were blowing the game, it was too late. They couldn't get iy going again.

The coaching staff lost the game.

I love that I hear Giants fans talk about the Eagles being lucky now.

The Eagles never should have needed that big comeback as 2 awful fumble calls giving the Giants the ball led to two TDs for the Giants inclduing that one in the final seconds of the 1st half.

Agreed. Still hard to understand why Reid didn't challenge either of those.

Don't tell Francesa or Carl Banks that. They both defended Tommy C. yesterday.

That video of Eli waiting for his press conference to begin is some fucked up shit. Lol! The press totally ignores you in your own town, and you standing their wondering like, WTF? Lol. That shit is priceless. I bet that was also part of the reason Eli addressed the team in that meeting. That is some humbling shit right there.

He couldn't challenege the first one as it was under 2 mins and the refs did look at it and STILL made the wrong call. on the 2nd one he should have thrown the flag regardless but apprently Philly wasn't getting replays in time in their booth so that prevented them from seeing it before the next play.

I don't think luck had anything to do with the Philly win -- but I did hear somewhere that Michael Vick was a gambling man.

I know that Jets fans hate Belichick, but you have to give the Devil his due.
Belichick would never have let his team lay down like that.

The Giants not only went into a Prevent Defense, they went into a Prevent Offense. They didn't make one first down in the last ten minutes.
Tom Brady wouldn't have stood on the sideline with a stupid expession on his face like Manning. He would have been screaming at his offense to get going.

31-10 with seven or so minutes left .. that's a big barrier to go through, yet it happend.. That is why I chuckle when I see "BB is a dick for running it up" bull crap .. crazy things can happen until the clock strikes 0:00 ..

I still have the Giants in the SB against the Pats, rematch with the same results.

What happened in the game can and will be corrected by TC.

It's not just running up the score for the sake of the score.
It's taking time off the clock.
Every TD or FG that you tack on means that the other team has to use at least 30 or 40 seconds and probably more, to make it up.

Not exactly. The Giants didn't go into a prevent defense. If they had, Celek wouldn't have gotten that long pass.

When you have a lead like they did it would have made sense to trade yardage for time. That Cover Who that the Jets used to run with Herm is predicated on forcing the offense to sustain long drives. You don't have to go prevent, but you can't have Justin Tuck covering the tight end either.
