Good for him, it's a shame he wasn't in the cards for us. I just wish he played for someone else.

    Guys need to stop hating.

It's not like Woodhead be the second coming of the Curtis Martin situation.

    *holds breathe*

the woodhead thing pisses me off because so many pats fans think woodhead is a rookie

he played last year, and didnt really do that well. he didnt earn his snaps and got cut because of it. like what happens to a lot of players, they learn from that and put more effort into the places they were lacking on their last team. of course, he was helped out a bunch by injury, and so he got to get on the field and do what he is apparently great at, running the football. would he have gotten that chance without the injury to faulk? possibly, but who knows.

to say that the jets were stupid for letting him go, really just screams to me of someone attempting to bash an organization for a situation completely out of their control. sure we would ahve liked to see woodhead make those plays on the jets, because we saw hardknocks and humans are fickle. also, woodhead is not a viable first option back. he cant block. its physically not possible...

Why the hell would BB dump him? He just found a guy to replace Kevin Faulk for the next 5 years.

Football has Millions of fans. You think that every single one recognizes every single player? Not everyone is diehard. It's not a requirement. I've followed the Pats for as long as I've watched football and I wouldn't be able to pick all 53 players on the active roster out of a crowd. There are alot of people who simply watch a game on sunday, wear their favorite shirt/jersey, and then don't think a single thing of it until next week, they don't all watch espn, nfln, browse forums, etc all week like a lot of us do.

Nooo ? Get outta town. He really did that ?
Unbelievable. In my 40 years of being a football fan, I've never heard or seen such a thing.

You don't have to like the fact he was taunting but you sound like a pussy. It pisses me off when anyone taunts even when your namesake drops the ball after every catch. Its a part of the game. Man up, move on.
