Brad Smith passed for a TD in Week 4.

He need a punt return for TD and a receiving TD this year

they will have to throw it eventually, i think the time is now and to do it often enough that teams start to play it straight up. you dont even have to complete it just make sure they know you will do it. right now nobody respects the pass when smith is back there.

and its not like we have leon johnson back there throwing hte ball this kid can put it where it needs to be.

They should actually work it so that he gets like 3 plays in a row...

I guess only the coaching staff could answer that one.

I feel like this is the part of the offense that we are missing. You give Smith the keys to throw a pass and that wildcat formation becomes gold. I truly believe they are trying to save that for the playoffs to throw off the defense and their formations, but there's no reason that they couldn't do that now and continue to use it to maximize Smith's wildcat usage

    Yup.

Now he should be the backup QB and be allowed to throw more though.

If Smith throws the ball to the inside of the field Edwards is gone for a TD. But that's a tough throw to expect him to make

Edwards slowed down, not completely Brad's fault.

Just the threat of him throwing opens up a lot of running room. That pass was worth it and will help in the playoffs. By the way it wasn't that bad of a throw.

If Edwards continued to run he coulda caught it in stride.

If the ball wasn't ten yards to the right of where it should have been he catches it in stride without having to adjust to a piece of crap throw. Brad Smith is great at a lot of things. Throwing the ball is not one of them.
