They were missing Polamalu, but we were missing Leonhard and Jenkins. We've been missing Jenkins all year, and he's a key player to this defense. Come on man. Injuries are a part of the game.

If you are a jet fan and thought we were gonna lose then you prob thought we were not going to the playoffs... I had the score of 20-13 not bad huh? lol

As a jet fan you have to believe and know that this is a never die team esp since we won all those damn close games this year!

We finally played good not great on all phases, including the coaches esp B. Schotty.

Good game guys, good game by Pittsburgh too.

    Enjoy itl

Don't think that at all or else you aren't a fan at all.

You are overly negative and always waiting for the sky to fall. That is a SOJF in a nutshell.

    That is so true.

Ask some Giants fans if they feel that way after their game today.

I always say that the margin between winning and losing is razor thin, and now the Jets have 10 wins. I'll take 'em.

I'd rather Boston, Miami, Philly, Dallas, etc suffer than Giants fans. I really feel for them. But that's just me.

Yup the win today can be boiled down to about 3 plays. If the Jets don't make them they lose. Today they made the plays and came away with a win.

Totally erased the S.O.J. tag today. With everything that was going on this week, in years past we most def lose this one, but not today!!!

IF you truly believe in SOJ you would expect this. The jets win when noone expects them to and then rips your heart out when you have the most faith in them.
TRUE SOJ fashion is as follows, Get to the playoffs, most likely win out just to build your hopes up. Blow out the chiefs or the chargers or whoever we play in the first round. When you really have faith in them they lay an egg and get destroyed by the Pats or the Steelers in the divisional round.

    Flame away

Nice job, Jets. I didn't expect them to lose here, but I don't think they'll win out. The lack of a call on the jersey grab on the last drive was a bit questionable, but every team gets bullshit calls. Even if my Patriots lose tonight, I'm not going to disappear from this forum like the rest of the bandwagoners. I'm very much enjoying the fact that the division is actually entertaining. Remember when analysts and other fans called the AFCE a weak division?

Same here. I thought we'd lose a close game. Props to everyone who thought differently. I love it when I'm wrong.

I laugh when the JETS win @ home and I'm 1 of only 10,000 who stayed to watch us pull it out.

I also laugh in the Game Threads when we are down 7 and all the gameover posts start, and the soj ....lmao.

Although today I posted that I wanted to turn the game off after they scored their TD because of the officiating but as I said, I stay til the end.

Beat them @ their own game @ their House with their calls.

I lost confidence early on when the defense constantly let up 3rd and longs. I was losing any confidence I had gained back, during the final drive of the game.

I will also admit, I was ready to scream SOJ if we lost this game.

    Kardiac Kids 2010, extremely fitting.

Fuck and yes. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel like I was about to throw up during that last drive.
