Given the alternative for GB (Matt Flynn) I'd say it's a huge advantage for the Pats. The Jets moreso Sanchez's inability to move the ball doesn't really change for the Jets w/o Hair in the game.

Miami's secondary isn't terrible. 6th best in yards allowed, 11th best in QB rating against, 6th in TDs allowed, etc, etc

The most important factor is the Jets' line giving Sanchez the time he needs to get on the front foot and throw confidently, if he gets panicky and we see a return to happy feet and receiver lock on then it might as well be me and my dog in the Pittsburgh secondary for all the benefit it will have for us.

No argument. Rodgers out changes the entire game. The GB D may play valiantly but I can't see them holding the Patriots offense down all day. The Pats are favored by 10 1/2 points and that sounds very reasonable if even a little low.

But I think Polamalu out will really surprise you. He covers up some real weaknesses in the Steelers secondary. Unless Sanchez and the Jets offense completely gag, they should be able to move the ball and even score. If he was playing I think the Steelers would win. Without him it's a real ballgame.

I still do not know if we can score with Troy out but the Steelers chances of scoring when we are on O will be greatly reduced.

About time something went our way, considering our safety depth has been reduced to Pool and Lowery switching to safety.

I like your attitude sir, but that is just fucking silly. If he does play, I'm blaming it on you.

God does love the Jets! Now if Jesus loved the Jets, James Harrison wouldn't play either

It seems pretty clear now, if the Jets want to win the passing game is going to have to be able to step up and make plays. Without Polamalu the Steelers' secondary is awfully weak. The thing is, even though the Jets will be able to get guys open, Sanchez is still going to have to deal with pressure for a lot of this game. It will be critical that he doesn't turn the ball over, and he makes the most of the times he does get good protection.

I think the Jets' defense can contain the Steelers, but they are still going to need to put up about 16 points. The only way that happens is if Sanchez plays his best.

Wow I didn't even know this, I've been so busy with finals. This news is AMAZING. Two of the guys short of Rothelisberger probably not playing that most benefit this team. No excuses I think. I know were at Pittsburgh and we've 0-7 there they've been saying (why only 0-7, have we only played at Pittsburgh 7 times in the past 40 years?), but we're a good road team. If we don't win or at the worst lose but play really hard, then I don't see the Jets in the playoffs other than the backing in scenarios.

Smith is out, Ihedigo is questionable and a part timer at best..... Who the fuk is lining up at Safety opposite Pool???

    Call up Donovan Warren LOL

EDIT: Nevermind, now I remember that our replacement is conducting trains in the middle of Tornado alley instead. But wait, that doesn't answer who the fuck is lining up opposite Pool
