Yeah right. I'm thinking if there is an actual injury there, they're not going to risk losing their best player during what is most likely going to be a very physical game for the POs when the following 2 games SHOULD be winnable without him, but nothing's a gimme.
My earlier tweet said the same. Their next 2 games are easy wins. Why not rest him, those are almost guarantees.
Heath Miller's concussion symptoms return according to the hack Florio. May need to be cleared again to play.
I'll give you the Browns, but the Panthers?? We could beat the Panthers, and by we I mean this MB. lol
LOL, I know, right? HOWEVER this is likely to be a brutally physical game and you never know what kind of injuries are gonna come out of it. That plus the Panthers is a Thursday night game, short week. I don't take anything for granted, not with the way they're playing right now. They could lose to my daughter's high school team.
Really? I just reread it and only got more angry than I was when I originally wrote it. One of the worst coaching decisions I ever witnessed.
Don't forget that Jim Leonard is out for the season. Leonard was as important to the Jets defense as Polomalu is to the Steelers. :jets:
We also lost his backup for this game which is even suckier. Now we are starting a CB at S. (I know he was practicing that position anyway)
Do you honestly believe that? If the Steelers had a healthy Jim Leonhard in place of Polamalu the last 2 games they would have lost.
I would argue that Aaron Rodgers is more important to the Packers success than Polamalu is to the Steelers success. He is definitely a huge part of it though.
Given our offensive struggles, Polamalu sitting out this game is a huge gift from the football gods. Our playoff odds have increased substantially.
