An intelligent, objective fan knows that this team is not a SB contender and they should lose in the divisionals to the top 2 teams in the conference. Can they have January magic? Sure, but they are too inconsistent to convince anyone they will return to the AFCCG game this year. SOJFs want to have you believe this team is destined for 9-7 just so that they can say I told you so and cry about how this team is like no other team with the way it fails. Funny thing is, this team fails just like the other teams in this league. Fishbowl mentality by those unwilling to appreciate the entire landscape of the NFL. The NY media has a lot to do with how this team is perceived. When we all learn to collectively hate them, we may free ourselves from thinking like a bunch of pussies.

An that is cool, this is what I am talking about. I hope you dad is still around and you can ask him an see how he feels. You are a true Jets fans but have been at it for only 25 years believe me when I tell you you won't feel the same way in 15 or 20 more years. Yes, you will still love the Jets, but if the next 20 are going to be like the last 20, your love will be more contained. Just like you felt different about the same subject at 35 then you did about it at 20. It just like this season, everyone down here, Ft Myers, was patting me on the back and saying how great the Jets were and this team was destined for a championship this year. While I was loving the wins and the season, I refused to get caught up in the hype. As I have for years win or lose, it"s always "One game at a time" and see who is standing in the end, This is how you become a 40 year Jets fan, LOL by staying level and even keel and letting this teams past history keep your feet on the ground. Believe me when I tell you myself and many others like me, wil go to there graves much happier people if we could see this team win just one more Championship . An unlike the bunch of Wahoo's on this board who will never stand the test of time, and are the first ones to open there pie holes to diss those who have maintained this fans base , we will be Jets fans to the very end of our lives.
If we lose to those two teams, we will have not beaten a team with a winning record for months. If that happens we've got virtually no chance of winning in the playoffs.
Then I must be the exception, considering I predicted this losing streak in August and have felt fine the entire time. I'm expecting my prediction of a loss to the Steelers to come to fruition as well. This team not making the playoffs will be a true shock, considering the talent. Then again, this team has a 2nd year QB, and 2nd year QBs aren't known for their consistency which can make the playoffs doubtful. I learn all the angles, so I'm really never shocked at anything. The only shock I had this year was not scoring a TD against Green Bay. That made no sense to me.
