Jets are putting on a clinic on how to destroy a young QB.

When a defense stacks the box with 9-10 guys, KEEP RUNNING AT THEM!

Until it is 3rd and long, then you let your young QB get the shit blitzed out of him.

Also, take out his strong points, like slants, throw one or two per game.

Put your young QB in as many bad situations as you can, yup, that'll destroy him alright.

We are watching the Jets destroy Sanchez.

When the defense stacks it's 100% on the QB to check out of the play. The offensive coordinator has NO CONTROL OF THE PLAY at that point. Why don't people understand this?

    AMEN ... applause ... AMEN!
I'm not sayng that Schotty is an offensive genius ... but at some point it simply comes down to the QB and the surrounding cast to execute.
And when you can't hit a guy on his numbers from 10 yards away, you're going to have some problems moving the ball.

You don't check out of every play called at the line. They are consistently putting this offense in bad situations. 3rd and 5 or more. two runs and a pass or one short pass and a run then a long pass. Sanchez does bear a lot of the blame too. He needs to do a better job of throwing the ball and finding open recievers. I do think Sanchez is doubting Schotty. I think the whole offense is as well. They just wont come out and say it.

    Your 100% incorrect.

The Jets know they are stacking the line, they are calling runs anyway.

They DO NOT WANT HIM checking out of run.

I just don't get what you are talking about...

Sanchez had 44 pass attempts, and you are complaining that they called too many runs?

Why won't you just admit our young QB is a big bust? He doesn't do anything particular well....

His arm strength on the deep ball is also terrible...

    Stats are Sooooo misleading.

The offense is so damn predictable, they constantly play into what the defense knows they are going to do.

That mostly depends on wether or not the CS gives Sanchez the freedom to audible out of the called play. Some coaches tell a QB not to do that at certain points of the game. I'm not saying that was the case here but the QB doesn't always have that kind of control and telling the QB to run what was called and nothing else WOULD BE an example of the OC having control over that play.

Hmmm let see - who is calling the stupid freaking running plays into a stacked box??? Lets see who has been the OC on this team while every freaking team we've played since GB has done the same damned thing? Who has been the OC in charge of preparing the QB for the game and who is the OC who is in charge of developing a gameplan that contemplates the fact that everybody in the stadium knows that the D is going to stack the box and force Sanchez to beat them with passing?

Blaming the QB for the absolutely Bullcrap job that this OC has done is absolutely Horse Manure. Why is the freaking OC continuing to send in doomed plays against a stacked D so that the QB has to constantly check down for the offense to even have a shot of executing?

You realize the play is called prior to the defense stacking the box, right?

I was under the impression that the coaches didn't want Sanchez to check out of a play. They take forever to get the call in to him, he then has to take more time to get everyone lined up, then even more time to run through all of the pre-snap motions. By the time he looks up and notices the D there's only like 4 seconds left on the play clock. Not much time for him to call an audible at that point.

They don't do all that motion bullshit anymore. I don't know if they have him so handcuffed that he can't check from run to pass but I highly doubt it.

Yes they are dude. Stop trying to talk like you see more than we do. Every team we play sells out to stop the run and basically dare sanchez to beat us. They have made no secret to their gameplan either. I do know what it means to stack the box. Im damn sure I know more about how football is played than you do too.

I think they tightens the reins too much after a mistake and then Mark looks too much for the checkdown because of it.

This guy is telling me we see a stacked box on "every fucking play". You agree with that? If you do than you don't know what you're looking at.

Do we see a lot of stacked box, yes. Is it every play, no. Don't go into junc mode.

Thats why i blame coaching. Look evry QB makes mistakes, but he looks tight after mistakes. He needs to loosen up and play. The whole offense does.
