This is what I hate about ESPN. Their analysis is all based on what a team did the prior week. If the Bears manage to beat the Pats, I can guarantee they'll be calling them the best team in the NFL.
if Kendall Langford catches the ball that was put in his breadbasket for a pick 6 at the end of the game, you guys lose..
My only reservation is in the offenses ability to put up enough points to compensate for our shaky-ass defense. In other words...I'm worried about our defense.
Obviously you don't know what you're talking about/didn't watch the game. The play in question was in the middle of an eventual Jets TD drive
Oh yeah lineman have interceptions all the fucking time huh? They are known for great hands? Lets play the if game...................If only your parents were checked for recessive traits. If that happened this thread would be more bearable.
Lol Can't believe phin fans keep talking about that play. What a pathetic existence There's maybe a handful of interceptions from linemen in the nfl a year.
The point is, your QB made a grave mistake with the game on the line, there really is no way around that, it just so happens that our player could not make an easy play to close the deal...iam sure it will haunt him the rest of his life...it was that easy... Forgetting, or choosing not to acnowkledge that kinda of mistake is what homers do.. I only brought this up because I was reading how someone said that you killed us at our place..
Sanchez made a grave mistake so just how awful was the mistake of not catching the ball? You can overstate the Jets mistakes and downplay the Fins but the fact of the matter is the mediocre teams (fins) make more mistakes throughout the course of the game than a good team (jets) does. That's why one team is floating at .500 while the other has a 3 game lead in the wild card race.
omg dude seriously shut up You can't blame a d-lineman for not catching a ball that was thrown at him from 3 feet away...Why do you think he plays DE? A lot of running backs wouldn't have caught that. Sure it was a poor decision by Gaychez but that would have been an incredible play by Langford We lost because we let Keller destroy us in the 1st Q and because Jason Allen can't cover or tackle
Game over? The score was 24-23 Jets. So if he hangs onto the ball, how does that make the Jets lose? Are we playing the if game...if he hangs onto it, if he returns it for a TD, if he hangs onto it and the Phins get close enough for a FG...if they make the FG... That's a lot of iffing going on.
Probably would have been a pick 6 but its still a dumb argument. It was one of those moments that makes a fan go nuts, but it was improbable that he makes that play. Unfortunately the Phins have had about 4 would-be pick 6s that were dropped...Off the top of my head, Jason Allen in the Bills game, Sean Smith in the Ravens game, Nolan Carroll in the Browns game, and Langford in the Jets game. All would have given us the game on a silver platter. Funny how a few of those plays going the other way and the Ben fumble being called correctly put is in prime playoff spots LOL. Shame on me for believing in the Phins again
Yeah, And with some justification. The pasts gave us a lesson and I am full of Crow pie. Now eat a share and lets hope we get a chance to play the Patriots again.
Good luck. Your biggest margin of victory was 24 over Buffalo. You should just hope you even get a win at this point
