When a guy with as much success as Brady has had struggles and the offense doesn't perform well, it's reasonable to assume the new OC is doing a poor job. With Schottenheimer.. where is the success? Where is his track record that he should be immune to criticism? He's never led a good offense. Never. And with all the talent on the Jets offense now, why should they perform like this? Why does the offense do so badly at the start of games, which just so happens to be the time of the game that the "genius" scripts plays for and prepares ahead of time? Why is it every time the Jets have extra time to prepare for a game, they have scored 9, 0, and 3 points this year?
Anybody that has actually bothered to read my thoughts on Schotty outside of the scope of telling you that you are dumb will tell you I don't even think he is that good. You just sound like the dumb Pats fan all the time.
My 6 year old says the same thing when I tell him Ice Cream is not a reasonable dinner. Congratulations. You're ready for the first grade.
I'm not re-typing the same shit anymore. There are plenty of adequate rebuttals from myself and others to everything in this post in the Schotty thread.
Don't you go bringing logic into this. I had one of these ballwashers tell me...flat out...that because I say Paul Hackett would have been an effective QB Coach..does not make it so, so by extension Schotty deserves the top slot at OC, because he's coaching Mark. (I guess Cavanaugh carries coffee, and Gannon and Pennington are shitty evaluators of QB coaching talent.)
I'm glad to see Rex getting more and more involved in the offense, as much as I love Rex one of my biggest concerns is that he didn't seem to want to step away from the defense. He's a head coach now, not a D-coordinator and I think he's finally starting realize that. Not to mention he also has an Offensive coordinator he knows he can't trust with the offense.
As I pointed out, while you're gaydancing. Those observations are far from accurate. You hung your hat on the Houston game. We ran 4 slants. 4. In Cleveland, Homes had to beg FOR ONE that he then took to the house. Two games. 5 slants. Yeah..we're running them all the time. It's a far easier task to word search 'slants' than it is to spend a couple hours at the dvr breaking down the tape. What is obvious, is you don't do it.
