Definitely a heart breaker. Counts the same in the standings A heart breaker you play over 1000 times in your mind. This was...we got crushed, move on. I sleep better after a blowout
I couldn't have put it better myself. I just stay away from sports talk for the entire week especially WFAN. There will be so many retarded callers phoning in later today and throughout the week. It is going to be really tough to listen to it so better just to avoid it. The Jets need to come out and beat down the fish this Sunday. Hopefully, the Pats drop the game @ Chicago (which is not impossible), and the Jets are back in business.
I am going to soak up every post, article, and news clip I can like the glutton for punishment that I am. Ooh baby.
Yes, tied for second largest margin of defeat. 45- BALTIMORE 48, Green Bay 3 in 2005 42- MIAMI 45, New York Jets 3 in 1986 42- Seattle 42, PHILADELPHIA 0 in 2005 42- NEW ENGLAND 45, New York Jets 3 in 2010
Also, the less time this coaching staff has to plan for the game...the better. I always thought it was overblown the whole notion of "the Jets do horrible with too many days off." I thought it was mere coincidence, and people were making too much of it. But as they say...fool me once...etc etc.
Agreed. It's just bizarre, but getting one of the top 2 seeds and the bye week seems like it would be a death wish for the Jets.
These are the losses that I forget quickly...it's the loss by a point or to that cause me not sleep at night or watch ESPN. I feel bad for Rex and his staff, because they have the pick up the pieces. Tonight this team was EXPOSED badly.
I live in San Diego and have all my life. My dad is a huge '68 Jets & Namath fan. Some real words of advice...if you take this crap so serious where it ruins your life then your an idiot. My dog's name is JET and I love the Jets no matter what. I'll read the papers, watch ESPN & take this loss on the chin. Next week it's on for Miami! GO JETS!
