Will you be singing the "we're 10-3 and in great shape for the playoffs" tune when we barely squeak by the Dolphins at home next week? Hey a win's a win right?
Lol. Yeah 10-3 is so terrible. What if the pats lose too? People forget how crazy the NFL is. Shit doesn't make sense and the margin for error is nill at times.
The big picture is we split with NE and still control our own path to the playoffs. NE has put stinkers up before too.
I never said 9-3 or 10-3 is terrible. I'm talking about the delusion that because we have a good record right now that we're a serious SB contender. Cuz you know what? WE'RE NOT!
and if we barely beat the steelers to 11-3, we'll all cry ourselves to sleep. look im one of the most pessimistic people i know so all im asking is for everyone to calm down and see how the next few weeks play out before we go crying to our mommies saying we'll never believe in this team again. with 25% of the season left, you never know what can happen. i mean if this loss can't light a fire under this teams ass then what can?
9-3 is great, but we still have only 1 win against teams with a winning record (that came in week 2). We also have gone without a TD in all 3 of our losses. We also got shutout at home coming off a bye. We also just got humiliated by 42 points against a division rival in the biggest game of the year. Optimism is great, but there is clearly a cause for concern to say the least.
as we proved last season nothing matters until the playoffs begins. it was a bad loss on many levels especially since we probably are gonna be a 5th or 6th seed but lets not overreact.
definately some cause for concern but the only thing we as fans can do (besides complain) is wait and see how this team responds in the next few weeks after this humiliating loss
You never know, the Browns roughed up the Patriots. The Patriots might get wrecked by the Bears and then we will have control of the Division. Just never know.
Any time the Jets beat the Dolphins its a cause for celebration. Especially after how the team looked this week I would think that any fan would be ecstatic with a win next week.
for an idiot like me, can someone explain how we beat the pats on tiebreakers if they lose to the bears and win out and we win out? wouldnt we both have the same division and conference record and even record against common opponents. we lose to the ravens they lose to the browns. we lose to the packers they lose to the bears. after head to head, division record, common opponents, and then conference record it goes to strength of victory which i dont know our numbers for
