Just to note, Miller isn't garbage at returns, he just had fumble problems. If he gets over those, he'd be a dynamic return man.

Now where did you read this BS?

We haven't heard anything about this so don't start a false rumor.

Actually, he is not. The case is already done and he is NOT GUILTY. Besides, I was just saying Justin Miller will never be a Star Cornerback. He might be a good cornerback but thats all.

For real? I could have sworn the trial would go on longer than that. I guess I have to wait for a Miami Dolphin to murder someone now.

Justin Miller has the potential to be a #1 CB; i don't think there's any arguing that. if you do argue that, then you probably didn't watch him play at Clemson.

i'm not saying he's going to be a "star" -- in fact, i don't think anyone said that. he already gained valuable game experience last year and his coverage on Steve Smith was a glimpse of his capabilites. since he already has game experience, i'm very excited to see Mangini coach him up some more. he's got the raw athleticism; all he needs to do is understand CB'ing in the NFL, which, hopefully, will happen under Mangini and Co.

    cheers

Let's see.... you say you are a Jets fan, but al you ever do is bash the team and the players. Then you claim to be a season ticket holder, but live in Florida and don't watch all the games. Now you think I'd take you at your word that you would pay up?

IM SO GLAD ANDRE MADDOX WAS MENTIONED!

Hes someone i watched through college, and I tell you the guy is a missile with legs. He can lay the wood, no joke. I knew less about Rhodes, and thought rookie yr he would switch to FS and Maddox/Coleman would battle at SS

either way I expected Maddox to crack the lineup until he got injured, hes a ballhawk slightly weak in coverage but a demon against the run.

cant wait to see, and I HOPE we see him on the field this season if not next.

The part that makes me laugh the most is that he is now documented to be betting money against the Jets.

JMO -- Miller is one of the top three players I am looking forward to seeing benefit from Mnagini's coaching. And to a slightly lesser extent, Derrick Strait. Both of these guys should continue to develop into potential starters.

Derrick at Nickel back, possibly CB, and Miller at CB.

Maddox was drafted for Mike Westhoff. He's going to be a special teams players his entire career. JMO. But he could be a good one. He was drafted to be one.

Penny -- the balls in his court. only he can control his own destiny now.

Cotch -- he will never fill Wayne's shoes, no one will -- ever -- but could become something special in his own right. He's a valid #3 slot receiver. Because our #2 WR position is so weak, he could benefit.

Jmac -- I just don't see the athletic ability, the flexibility, the hands, the plays he makes. I just don't see it. Granted he had a down year, but no mulligan here. The year before he practically won the Browns game for us. Needs consistency, or he won't play for Mangini. If he doesn't bounce back, and within the first quarter of the season, I guarauntee you he will be phased out and replaced come next year.
