    He's trying to jinx us.

He's still one of the reasons for the worst pre/post game show of all time.

I'm a Pats fan born & bred, BUT, I am reasonable (I think) and a realist. So, YES, the Jet's HAVE been lucky a few times lately, BUT, as I wrote in a comment on a Boston site earlier, the Pats have CERTAINLY had their share of luck over the last decade. There is NOTHING wrong with getting lucky now and then and having the ball bounce favorably for your team once in a while.
Two famous LUCKY downs for the Pats were
    A.) The TUCK RULE.
Brady was sacked & fumbled & in my eyes that GAME for all intents and purposes was OVER. Instead, the ref's say NO FUMBLE, and I (along with MOST of the free world) got an education on a little known TUCK RULE. I couldn't believe it. It gave us back the ball and won the game, advancing to the SB by lucking out in the biggest way. I guess the call was the correct one. I've been told that over and over, but gee, I always thought I knew what a QB fumble was until that day. Yeah, they won the SB the very next game
B.) Pats perfect season, 2007, playing Baltimore. Pats 4th & 1....Baltimore needs a HUGE play to end this game and any dream the Pats had of a perfect season. The ball is snapped and BAM... Brady was stuffed for no gain!... Turnover on downs and game is basically HISTORY...... RAVENS should win easy !.... But WAIT, what's this ????.... Apparently someone called TIME OUT on the sideline BEFORE the ball was snapped..... Incredibly the Pats get another shot..... and long story short, they walk off the field winners. Pretty friggin' lucky that day. Lucky I didn't need a defibrillator either.
Don't get offended when you are called lucky. Luck sometimes plays a big role in a game. The Cleveland game.... 16 second in OT left.... Jets were pretty lucky to get the ball back. Cleveland should've been able to run the clock out... SO WHAT.... Jets won. A bit of luck during a couple other games in that stretch.... SO WHAT.... Jets win each time.... Luck is a GREAT thing to have on your side and can bring you places you might not have made it to otherwise. Once the "luck" happens, your team usually still has some work to do to put things away
After the TUCK RULE, Adam Vinatieri STILL had to make an awfully difficult long kick in a blizzard, but only after the Pats drove the length of the field. He made it, but never would've gotten the chance if they weren't lucky enough the refs called the TUCK
After Baltimore's timeout, the Pats STILL had to execute & score after 2 more 4th down conversions and a TD that was reviewed but stood up
The Jets still had to execute to win those games even after any luck that went their way. A "W" is a "W", they all count, some are prettier than others, but they all count.
Anyway, looking forward to finally claiming sole possession of 1st place Monday night. Either that or the Jets will break a 25 game home winning streak, which ties 1st place all-time with Favre & Packers for most consecutive home wins ever.
It sucks that the only team besides the Jets to beat us had Rexs's brother running the "D", I'm sure they have talked at length on how Rex should try and handle the Pats. His methods worked fantastic

How many times do you think he says, "That was my favorite move," when watching the Titans?

It was such a smooth transition to go from Harrison to Meriweather. Both dirty hitters.
