If there's ever anything you listen to, please pay attention to the following:

    www.touringplans.com

This site is worth its weight in gold- these are the folks who put out the "Unofficial Guide to Disney World" every year.

They offer a $10.95 membership per year, and here's what it gets you:

    1) Access to the website, where you'll can review various strategic touring plans for your group. Example, Family with 2 boys under 5- there's a touring plan for that. Family with tweens and seniors- there's a touring plan for that. It will guide you, step by step to the attractions you should hit in specific order to avoid the lines.

    2) Access to historical and projected park data re: crowds. Example, today is projected to be 4/10- 10 being the worst. It then goes so far as to give you the best parks to attend, and park to most avoid.

    3) Mobile App- by far the coolest piece. Using data submitted by users of the site and somehow in conjunction with Disney, it's giving you REAL TIME RIDE TIMES for every ride in the park. If you're on one side of the park and wondering whether to hit Space Mountain on the other side, before you start walking you just look it up. It's updated on a nearly minute by minute basis.

Unfreaking believable website. I don't think that you'll feel like you're being forced to take an organized tour when following the touring plans, but instead cutting out tons of lines and getting the most out of your stay.

Disney is extending free dining until September 2011. Select dates with a 5 night stay or longer

Labor day weekend is prime time. No lines. Empty waterparks, cheap rates.

The Southeast goes back to school around the 20th of August, so the place is a ghost town.

    FYI

    Free dine is per person:

    1 Quick service meal
    1 Snack
    1 Table service meal

    And please tip your server.

Unless you are a party of 6 or more, Disney does not add gratuity.

Walt Disney World’s Pleasure Island to become “Hyperion Wharf” adding new shopping, dining and a park, complete by 2013
Disney will soon begin “re-imagining” what was once Pleasure Island at Walt Disney World’s Downtown Disney into a new experience called “Hyperion Wharf.”

Pleasure Isla[IMG]ittle activity has been seen around the area, leaving the former clubs dormant. Now has announced they will create an estimated 1,200 new jobs over the next three years to complete the transformation.

Disney is calling the change “a nostalgic yet modern take on an early 20th century port city and amusement pier” that will feature “stylish boutiques and innovative restaurants” with “thousands of lights will transform the area into an electric wonderland” at night.

The area’s new name comes from Hyperion, the Greek god of light, as well as the street on which Walt Disney built his first major animation studio.

My girlfriend and her family (her parents are vacation club members) went for ESPN Weekend last year. I unfortunately JUST started a new job so I couldn't make the trip.

Just my luck, my girlfriend actually sat one car in front of Darrelle Revis on Rockin' Rollercoaster, which I thought was pretty cool.

ESPN Weekend was insane. I met Revis. Got his autograph on a Jets helmet. Got fucking GRILLED by Steve Spurrier for wearing Jets shit (he was born and raised in Miami), randomly talked to Sage Steele, it was good times. I think I'm going to be in Miami visiting friends around that weekend so I'll be going down there for a day hopefully. Would be sick if Markie is there.

The taping for the Christmas parade will be Dec 2 - 4th.
Kelly and Regis host as usual.
Its funny seeing the parade floats run all day.
