Stats on NFLN. This is when Revis is matched up with the reciever. Owens: 8 targets, 3-17 Andre Johnson: 4 targets, 1-20 Calvin Johnson: 4 targets, 1-13 Jennings: 2 targets, 1-11 Thats just unfreaking real. He's even better now than he was last year.
I personally wouldn't agree that he's better now than last year. The yardage numbers look good but vs the Johnsons and Jennings they were only targeted 10 total times. So holding a guy to one catch is great, but when they were only thrown to twice or four times, it's not as impressive. But still pretty damn good.
There is a reason that they are only targeted a few times, but I agree he's not where he was last year, but he's close.
He'll definitely be on Welker with Cromartie rotating between TE's and Branch, IMO. This is a game where we need Dwight Lowery back, big time.
Yea but for the money he's being payed he should be getting more ints. Because in Patriot land a good defense gives up 500 yards of offense but gets interceptions. I mean cmon McCourty is way better than Revis.
I can't wait for all the retards to say he's not good because he has 0 interceptions so far this season.
His stats mean nothing, the opposing receivers stats tell the story and are immensely more important. He's literally the straw that stirs Rex's drink.
i would like to see him or cromartie involved in blitz packages to offer some sort of change up in our blitz packages...revis is fast enough and a hard enough hitter to come from the corner and blitz
