Im still a Washington fan, Brad Smith has done the exact same thing that Leon did at the same level of production, so I cant complain. Props to Brad Smith
Smith's contributed WAY more than Washington could have as a third string back/kick returner. He's one of the best special team tacklers in the league.
Fan of him when he was with us. Appreciate the hell out of how he played for us. Knew why he was traded. That's the rational way.
Cmon when Leon was healthy there was not a more dangerous returner than him in NFL. However today Smith is prob better. When Leon had the ball with the Jets there was always a chance he could break a long one, until he broke his leg unfortunately. All in all Smith is a good runner/ returner, not a good wr. The seminole was named for L Washington and its still called by the same name today
Leon was one of my favorite jets, but this is the bottom line. Brad smith has proven more useful in many more situations.
Question: Why can't we line Brad up in the traditional RB spot every now and than? At least for a screen pass. He's caught some balls since Cotch has been out and on top of all his other skills he has great hands.
He's (Smith) has got a great heads up, draw them in, run with the blocks running style. I can't think of anyone in the league that runs like that. And he don't fumble*... *no jinx
Yeah i think we should drop some of the Seminole and just get him in on some running plays as well a toss play or sweep and i bet he could beat some people and get a chunk of yardage.
