He is a great tackler, BUT HE CANNOT COVER ANYONE.

He is a PI machine waiting to happen. He is a special teams beast though.

That personal foul on him was bullcrap.

I think a problem with Ihedigbo is that since he can't cover, and everyone knows it, when he is in he is almost definitely blitzing. Opposing qb's must know he is coming after them.

he is our special teams MVP usually week in week out and he's starting to get more time on defense.

That play he made recovering the fumble was really heady and showed that he knows what the fuck is going on... plus he plays 100 miles a minute

Right so you would use him for blitzes exclusively. You don't see an inherent flaw in that logic?

He is basically used as an LB as he is too slow to be a true safety. If he was any good at coverage, he would certainly be ahead of Smith and Pool on the depth chart.

I have to watch and see what packages they have him in for.

I call him Headhunter. He finds his own lane on KO's and goes in for the kill.

3 years ago in the Rams blowout game, my seats were on top of the tunnel, the man is intense, leading the team out, almost psycho and deserves to be a Jet for a long time...bet he is MW favorite.

Liability or not, the guy gets it done whether it's ST or getting after the qb. He might be the most successful pass rusher on the team even if he is a safety. Its too bad he doesn't fit a conventional role on this defense.. Hes like a hybrid linebacker/safety

get this guy some "vitamin s" and bulk him up. he belongs on the line! (j/k. don't do drugs, kids).

another shout out for UMASS. let's get Ducasse some playing time. maybe UMASS can be the jet's farm team. i think they have a "Hernandez" TE right now. Hernandezes are up and comers now, right?

What even stood out to me on the play was that he fell on the ball when he recovered it even with a clear path to the endzone. How many times do you see dumbasses try and pick it up fail to do so allowing the other team to retain possesion?

Ihedigbo is a run stuffing safety, he is a liability in pass coverage, but then again which of our safeties isn't a liability in pass coverage.

Is it possible to use him exclusively as a blitzer? Ihedigbo + Pace(when he's 100%... He looked real good in that Bengals game)would be an absolute terror.

It looks like they were dancing and photoshopped onto a football field 3 feet off the ground.

I love Ihedigbo. He's built more like a LB than a safety, so I like when they use him on 3rd downs for the blitz. He's a ST standout as well.
