They ALWAYS play DOWN, if your OK with this then DON"T BITCH when we're not ranked above certain other teams, this week we were put down in the rankings & most everyone here threw a hissy fit, when we're knocked down again this week keep your bitchin' to yourselves.
We shouldn't attack members because they are concerned with the play. I am concerned with this play also because while we are 8-2....the way we've been playing won't cut it in New England in 11 days. Jetsons made legit points and he is right. I am not saying the jets will lose in NE.....frankly I think we will be pumped for that one and play a big time game. But as a fan who really cares about this team...there IS some cause for concern.
it's not that we play down necessarily, it's just that we don't expend tons of energy and risk tons of injuries scoring 55 points when we only need 17 to win!
Post this if the game ends close, not during the game, otherwise this is dumb. We could blow them out from this point on, or they could blow us out. Either way, it's dumb to create an overreaction thread whilst the game is still in progress.
It's not an over reaction I'm just pointing out the obvious, no where in my post did I say we were going to lose, I just stated the fact that so far this year sans the Bills game we have failed to dominate the teams we should & always make it a close game when there's no reason too. THIS IS WHY WE ARE NOT CONSIDERED ELITE like the title of this thread states.
^ This is an overreaction, posted when we're down 7-3. This is the NFL, not every team is a walk in the park, even the Bungles. Their in the NFL for a reason. For the most part,we have dominated teams, only to give other teams a chance by making mistakes. Taking penalties like Block in the back, is a mistake., and it keeps teams like this in the game.
