Heading out in about an hour, this is where the green bleeders show their true colors. Stay dry at home, enjoy the game, we showed last week that less than 40,000 fans remaining can make as much noise as a full house. Stayed to the end and read the game thread from page 30 on today and had a good laugh. Go Jets!
While I'm figuring out how to keep my nuts dry, you guys can sit at home and scratch yours...no bitching about crowd noise in the game thread.
Wow, we had a nice Tailgate.. Thx for everyone who showed up. We had a crowd around the HDTV, a bunch of people ended up watching the game at our spot lol
Well hopefully we made enough noise, I saw in the game thread very early the sound cut out, could be explained by the fact that the TO SUCKS chants started very loud from the EZ right from the start. The uncut version should be confirmation. I was shocked too by how lively the crowd was today and during the TV timeouts we had our revenge on Big Mouth and Stumblefoot, bet he does not piss off Jets fans again. Hope everyone had a great day like I did. Keep the faith, we will get there, to our day in the sun when all that has gone before will be forever in the past...
I forgot to mention a group of Aussies who showed up and spent some time w/ us. ..some kewl fukin dudes who were in Cali, then Here then goin to Nashville on Monday...they love "the Boss" and when I told em I liked Men @ Work they laughed. Same as the way we laughed when they considered the Bud Light they were drinking was like gold .. It was pretty fukin classic.. :lol: All the best Mates, wherever your travels take you! :beer:
They were in my section, we hung out at half time.. The dude who gave me the hat, the "Boss" fan, is a professional gambler... All he does is bet at the dog track, no ponies, no sports, just dogs.. Told me he started out with $400 a year ago and is up to 135k now. They were a riot in the game... You better still have that Aussie coozie.......
Survived, barely...... We were literally the first ones in the lot. We were there at 12:10 and they made us wait right at the front. Didn't get home until 2:35 in the morning. The rain mostly stayed away which was beautiful. Started it with jumbo shrimps, onto brats, onto to the turkey dinner, onto after game pie and *ahem* more brew. I feel like absolute shit today, I've been in bed for most of it, but, damn, what a day!
First Jets game ever been to, it was amazing. I'm about to go into work with no voice at all lol. Loved it, i'm gonna have to catch at least one game a year now.
Definitely a good mix of old and young yesterday, when you have all day to prime, you're gonna be energetic. Going to Big Daddy's to drink and burn this so-called hangover away. mmmm....gumbo and bloody mary's.

Good crowd. Nice way to spend Thanksgiving and my birthday. And the rain pretty much held off during the game itself.
