This year the defense and offense have won games in spite of the other. In october we lauded our defense for closing out the final minutes. In november, its been the offenses turn to save games. This team is complete in the sense that they are mentally tough and do not back down in the final seconds. When the offense scores a TD, this team is undefeated.
Literally. Also, the two games where the Defense played its best (pointswise) allowing 10 points to Baltimore and 9 to Green Bay, are the Jets only losses. Pretty interesting. Its a true team-effort this season!
When you're good you get the close games more often than not and earn the breaks you get. Remember the Vinny phantom TD vs Seattle in 1998? Any other year that doesn't happen, but we were in the midst of a 10-1 finish and that's what happens sometimes.

That is an interesting stat. Our Defense is our defense. Throw caution to the wind in the Ryan scheme. We are goign to shut down All pros and give grunts career days. Hold them on 3 and 5 but give up 3 and 10+ where we are last in the league. Big plays both for and against. The offense is coming along nicely. If there is any doubt still the Holmes is our best receiver there should not be. Even with his security blanket of Keller getting taken away Mark is making big plays. The offense is ready to take this team far thanks to the addition of to big weapons in Holmes and LT combined with the continued growth of Sanchez at QB. Folk has for the most part been good, but melted down push 3 kicks wide right one week. That reeks of mechanics and mental problems combined so he needs to keep it together. Weatherford has been amazing. Smith is a damn good kick returner nad the punt returns have been steady, but nto great. All phases of the team are swinging into gear. Everygame is important. We may have to win the conference outright to even win our division. Its a big year, with big plays, and bigger expectations. I'm happy to be along for the ride.
Then again, that would imply that the offense cost us the ravens game. If you dig deeper you'll find that the defense cost us that game. /junk'd
Maybe the defense is jealous at the offense and is trying to get back at it for stealing the spotlight. Or maybe the defense is purposely sabotaging the offense to make sure they're battle tested come January. If you haven't watched Rex's press conference from yesterday you need to watch it. Rex explained how we are better in every category except RZ offense and defense. Also stated we are gearing up to be playing our best ball in December and January, there was just something soothing about the way he said it. lol
Interesting stat I found: Since Marks time in college, every time he sleeps on his left side on odd numbered days in even numbered months and is woken up by a BJ by a model... He's 4-0 Lifetime.. Get this man some head
