Speaking of the Patsies, Peyton is moving down the field with 2:00 to go. If Colts pull this game out, it would make my year.
Lol, I feel really bad for the Texan fans. The bbuild up to the let down just cracks me up. "4points up! Jets gotta make the TD! Texans D better not lose it!!!! " "remember who we are." "within hail marry distance now" "Omg omg omg omg " "Announcers sound saddened by Texans good fortune." "Nooooooooooooooooooo" "holy **** this is ****ed up " "are you kidding? no i guess not " "Now the announcers sound happy." "FIRE everyone "
That thread is funny. they end up arguing over whether or not Kareem Jackson is a good 4-3 corner as opposed to a 3-4 corner... wtf are they talking about?
Honestly, I felt the same way when we were about to lose. I was in absolute disbelief that we allowed the Texans to march back and (what seemed probable)...win the game. I sure as hell didn't leave the stadium and it ended being one of the most classic football games I have ever witnessed. I am still baffled though as to how we let them back into that game like that. It was as if we didn't want to win. Then of course at the last minute, we said............"Gimmethatback" Shit is unbelievable.
They should have named themselves the Oilers. Texans is such a lame team name - they deserve the bad karma for that.
They are a suffering franchise with brutal losses and with poorly managed coaches. They should fix that defense and they are close, but Kubiak is Jim Zorn bad.
That's a non-sense statement. I agree its not a great name but we're the Jets and we have no Jet planes in our logo or anything. The state of Texas takes a weird pride in being from that state and the franchise went to exploit/celebrate that.
a 4-3 corner??? texans fans need to be less worried about why their team blows and concentrate on why they know absolutley nothing about football.
And don't forget the Longhorns are dead last in the Big 12 after coming into the season with national title hopes. Double yikes.
I read that board a bit. I feel bad for texans fans because they've had to endure a lot, but holy crap, what a stupid fanbase for the most part (at least on that board). There was a thread where they said they should have ran the ball on 4th down instead of a FG LOL (because they thought it would have ran down the clock another 20 seconds) Then there was a thread that said "Bentley should have taken a knee after the interception". As if the clock wouldn't have stopped Then there was another guy that made like 11 different threads saying that the same thing (That the texans would be the jets this week). said we were going to get "Destoryed".....and he said "Destory" at least 6 different times.
Wow, their 'gameday' thread is classic material! It´s great how they started watching the scoreboard as soon as they thought this was over. Feel bad for them. Sort of.
How do you figure that? They were supposed to lose and we were up a ton going into the 4th. It would have been much worse for us.
Isn't it nice reading about opposing fans going through this rather than going through it ourselves like we have so many times through the years? It's getting frustrating to have to pull these games out but our offense is getting the job done when it matters most.
