Houston leads the league in lamest team nickname. "Texans?" Like anyone was wondering where Houston was?

i hope schotty is smart enough to know that since houston has a horrid pass defense itd make sense to pass the ball alot today

i know were ground and pound and all but sometimes the matchps dictates otherwise

Apparently Schotty is our offensive guru.

"Schottenheimer, of course, is regarded by general managers around the league as one of the game's sharpest young offensive minds."

Hmmm who to listen to. The people that run professional football teams or the message board coordinators.

I think I'll continue to go with the people who run football teams.

I can only guess he had a great week of practice or it's a ploy to motivate him to get a taste of being up front and center on gametime. Hope he is ready to show something. Perhaps they have a play or two setup for him. Perhaps a quick screen?

Leon would have been captain 3 times already.

...maybe we'll see him return kicks now that Brad Smith has to spend more time at wideout?

I will never understand the hate for McKnight. Absolutely no one complains about Vladimir Ducasse, who is also a project pick...a MUCH higher project pick.

Let the kid develop - he's got all the tools and then some. He'll make a lot of plays for this team eventually.

If we get up on the Texans, it will happen. We saw him against the Bills...the only team the Jets put away early.

I think that starts today as we build a big lead and give him some touches in the second half

This hour leading up to the game is taking forever. I've already prepped my game snacks, smoked too many cigs.

Thank God for this board to give me something to pass the time. Maybe I'll click the ads for 15 minutes or so to make Petro happy at least.

Warren Sapp just said the Houston def is so bad it makes you throw up in your own mouth. 'nuff said. Sanchez is going to have a huge day.
