People seriously think we could beat the Steelers if the Playoffs stared today with the way we've been playing?

People seriously think the Steelers are that tough with all the injuries they've had in the trenches lately?

This... I'm hoping we face the Steelers somewhere in the play-offs...

They're certainly not AS good with all those injuries, but Big Ben can find ways to stretch plays out and find the open receiver. I think their defense is still pretty stout and will keep them in the game until late. Personally, I don't think they're as easy as some are making them out to be.

Considering that in the last few weeks we haven't put a game together where the offense, defense and ST played as a whole, and the Playoffs were to start today, do you think we would still win as easily if our defense or better yet, our offense doesn't show up to the game? I don't.

I don't think any playoff games would be easy wins. I certainly wouldn't be really worried about the Steelers in there current state though.

The Steelers are not that good. I would be more worried about the Ravens, Patriots or Colts than the Steelers.

If there's one thing I'm confident about is that Mark Sanchez fella making a final drive count regardless of how terrible the defense OR offense has played the entire game.

If u say so. I just don't know how the Steelers aren't that good. What are u basing this on? Record? Teams that they've lost to? What?

I don't know at this point. They are certainly a team we can beat, but with Brady playing like he has been their offense is very suited to play against our defense, with them stretching the field and hitting four or five receivers, as they don't have stars to shut down with Revis and Cro.

When we beat them last time we switched to more of a zone defense in the absence of revis, and it worked then, but it is very unjetlike, and i'm not sure we can fool Bellichick with it twice.

A winnable game, but i'm not as confident as you. I think our offense would have to be very productive

I'm still most worried about the Colts in the playoffs. I feel like we match up extremely well with San Diego and the Patriots. Baltimore and Pittsburgh would be slug fests and tight games either way. Peyton scares me.

All I meant was they are not as good as you are feeling. As if the Jets could not beat them or something. They are still a top team in the AFC, but like I wrote, I would rather play them than the other teams I listed.

    My prediction :

    1. Jets
    2. Ravens
    3. Indy
    4. Raiders (still think Chargers take this)
    5. Patriots
    6. Steelers

    Playoffs - Superbowl:

    Round 1:
    Steelers @ Indy- Steelers

    Patriots @ Raiders - Patriots

    Round 2:
    Steelers @ Jets - Steelers

    Patriots @ Ravens - Ravens

    AFC Championship:
    Steelers @ Ravens- Steelers

Just my unbiased opinion based on right now. Hope I'm wrong. For some reason, playing at home (only 2-2 so far, plus some stinkers offensively) combined with Shotty having two weeks to overthink, scares me. I'd still sign up for the 1 seed and the bye right now. Plus, we have 7 more weeks to play to our fullest potential and become world beaters.
