Haha at the 0:12 mark Gus Johnson sounds like he fumbles on his own words to make the yelling playcall.

Said he'd break out in this game! There is no way any team can cover Holmes, Edwards, Cotchery and Keller when they stack the box. Schotty take note...

If you look at it the LB had a good angle on him and didn't have to slow down at all to get after him. Holmes lost some of his speed catching the ball and weaving upfield, and seemed to slow down to adjust the ball. Also, LBs aren't exactly slow in short space...

Yeah he had the angle. I was still amazed at an LB catching Holmes...

As said, the LB had a good angle plus Holmes made a cut back inside.

Holmes Keller Edwards Cotchery that's a helluva receiving core. Then LT out of the backfield. Game over. They just need to Protect the ball. This needs to be beating into their skull this week.

Some sort of block from Cotch would have been nice there. What he doing running up ahead like that?

Yeah I have no idea why Holmes didnt just follow Cotch and use him as a lead blocker.

He cut it inside, right back to the LB. I want to see that score a TD in the future, its too easy to miss a kick (no offense to Folk of course) so getting the TD is going to save us a lot of issues. Hell today was Folk's first OT attempt. it could easily have gotten into his head knowing the game was on the line...

I was watching the red zone channel and they host was like "Meanwhile, the Jets/Lions game is headed to OT and who is not excited to see a Gus Johnson game in OT?"

I just noticed that Sanchez almost let the ball slip through his hands trying to catch the snap.

    Crazy.

Yeah he bobbled it there and the play would have gone to waste if he did not come through with it.

A key huge play was the 3rd & 9 throw to Keller in double coverage.

Stafford was gunning it out there too...Hopefully he can learn to not drop on his shoulders

honestly i think gus johnson was the reason behind this win...if only he could call every game (unless the jets are winning for the entire game, then the gus factor is not what were looking for)
