Gholston to start over DeVito at DT?

Vernon Gholston at DT? Interesting...

 

Because of Rex "Home coming" theory (players play better when they play at home and Gholston is from Detroit).

Still, he'll be a starter for the first serie (what the singular for series!?) and than he'll go back to the bench).

If you go on the Jets depth chart page you'll see our DL is presented as a DE-NT-DT. Same for the Ravens... I guessit's because of the scheme versatility in REx's D.

 

Gholston's returning to his hometown and family.

I don't think this goes beyond a few early snaps in the first quarter.

Maybe the plan is to have him take out Stafford with a cheap shot first play. Other than that this makes no sense to me.
