Besides the obvious games, there are 3 important games to figure out who to root for...

Chargers (3-5) over Texans (4-3). Tough call, but considering their records, and the fact that the Texans are 3-1 in the conference whereas the Chargers are 2-3, I think you have to root for the Chargers.

Dolphins (4-3) over Ravens (5-2). I base this on my belief that the AFC East will go to the Jets or Patriots. Therefore, both the Dolphins and Ravens, barring the Steelers getting knocked out of first, will be going for wildcards. Dolphins are 2-3 in the conference, whereas the Ravens are 5-2. Remaining schedules look roughly the same. Plus, worst case scenario we are 1-1 with the Dolphins, whereas we know we'll be 0-1 with the Ravens.

Chiefs (5-2) over Raiders (4-4). Root for the Chiefs to maintain their comfortable lead in the AFC West, and essentially knock the Raiders out of postseason contention. Chiefs remaining schedule is Denver twice, Arizona, Seattle, San Diego, St. Louis, Tennessee, and Oakland. IMO, they get to 10 wins and win the West anyway.

It's still too early to root for division opponents to win. Go Ravens.

I'm rooting for the Patriots and the Dolphins to lose. The rest of the games I couldn't care less about.

also we should be rooting for Oakland over KC.

sure we want them out of the postseason, but we want as many W's for Oakland as possible.

Also the Miami-Ravens game is win win for us. If baltimore Wins, (couple with a win by us of course) Miami is 2 games back of us in the divison and possibly 3 back of NE. If miami wins, they are on our heels, but we then control our own destiny over the ravens.

With any luck. I agree it's a bit to early for all these other scenarios. Just looking for a Jets win coupled by a Pats loss. Although I don't think that will happen.

Why do we want them out of the post-season?

I'm rooting for Oakland to win as many games as possible... espcially against the Chiefs as I want the Chiefs to lose the division!
