The Lions have won 4 games in the last three calendar years and been a joke for the last decade. Insinuating that our fanbase has no clue about being hungy for wins is about the most off-base comment you could make in this particular instance. Face it, it was a bad example.
lol no reason to get bent out of shape by trash talk on the friday b4 the game, popcorn 2 days prior to the game is the best way to discuss football...we've already discussed all possible storylines now it's time for "fuck your team my team is better" talk fuck the lions
lol on what planet am I in a position to say "fuck your teamy my team is better"? .....it's the damn Lions....
That being said, when the Lions finally become a winning team imagine how good the feeling will be? I'm starting to feel bad for you guys, looking at your history. At least you made a playoff appearance in 99, that must've been fun huh?
Good pt...at any rate it's still better than reading Dolphins fans claiming if the Patriots didn't score 28 points or w/e on ST that they won
Have the Jets re-upped Harris yet? If not, are they working on a deal or waiting until the offseason?
Because of the provisions of the uncapped year, there was no way to give him an extension in the offseason (I think I read that, as an example, if the team gave him a 40 million dollar contract they'd have to guarantee 36 million)
Right, because of the 30% rule and that bonus would only be tied to skill, not injury. I remember now. Thanks.
That and the reallocation rule, unless we gave him a record breaking signing bonus was just not possible.
If he wanted to he could, because whatever he wants to do he's good at, but I really don't think he swings that way.
I could say something like: The Jets fans and players sure hope this would be true because it would be the first they've seen of that in a long, long time! But that would be too easy and far beneath me, so I won't say it.
