Am i the only one who isnt so sure about moving to the 3-4.I like the 3-4 defense but im not sure it fits us so great , its going to take awhile to adjust to it, and doesnt really help our best player in Vilma. It really only helps Bryan Thomas who has underachieved so far in his career, by giving him a second chance to prove himself at another position.
It also doesnt help Dewayne Robertson either and now we might need another NT to play that position. Now thats our last two first rounders(excluding this years) who we are now lessening their chances to be effective. Now we need another DE to play the 3-4 and some OLB's to play that as well.

it doesn't matter if you're not sure...Mangini and the coaching staff have already decided on it. I think it will take a while to start being effective, but it will be great once every player clicks in that system.

so no, your not the only one...

Personally, i believe that we will be 3-4 base but mix it up often, throw in some 4-3, 5-2, etc...
Right now, we may not have the best personel for it, but if we're going to install it we might as well do it now while we are in the rebuilding process

Oh yeah? Show me where they decided on it. Every time I see a presser where a reporter mentions "the switch to 3-4", Mangini laughs out loud.
