I guess that means Gruden steals him away as soon as he takes his next coaching job.

I love Callahan, and Gruden is a good analyst, but why does everyone always the best at everything do Gruden? I've heard him say "no one works harder than this guy" about at least 5 guys. How is that even possible, John? He goes a little overboard with his praises, kind of like Rex.

First, great article on Callahan. That said, I dont see him leaving, especially with the comment about how much he likes working for Rex. I have said it before, when Shotty leaves, I hope Callahan gets the job.

Mainly because absolutely no one works harder than Gruden, whether it be as a analyst or if he's just doing some simple garden work.

Callahan is a great line coach. Maybe a good OC, his Raiders HC job although he made the SB was I'll prepared for his former coaching partner's playbook.

I appreciate everything the guy does for us, it's rather evident he is a great teacher of fundamentals and technique.

Hopefully he stays with the Jets.

    I can't imagine he'd join Gruden again.

The ideal scenario would have Schotty taking a HC opportunity somewhere next season and promoting Callahan to the OC position while giving him an Asst. Head Coach title.

I wouldn't expect the playbook to do a total 180 under Callahan's watch.

the passing game would be less vertical and the one thing i love about schottys passing system is hes not afraid to spread the field.

that being said im for whatever keeps callahan here to help our OL.
