You know, I can remember when great linebackers were 225, not 265 pounds.

The Game has changed. The players are bigger, faster, stronger than 30 years ago. The rules are changing with the times to protect people from being crippled. We have horror stories of old time players who can barely walk. Players of today will end up in worse shape if they do not change things.

Harrison was leagal on the cribbs hit, but hits like the one on the receiver was nothing but intent to injure. If you want to seperate the ball, go for the ball, not the head. It was a cheap shot and nothing more.

Wasn't Harrison the one who killed Pat White last year?
    RIP Pat White

2nd one on Cribbs was tough call because he came from behind another player and only had access to the upper half of Cribbs body. He led with his head and shoulder and didn't wrap though.

that's the point, the game being dangerous isn't a good thing. it's a good thing when players stay healthy and actually play.

Sadly, I think we're going to see them watering it down with the huge deal being made over the other hits. For me, the worst one appeared to be the Merriweather hit.
