Have the Jets ever had a African-American QB besides Qunicy Carter?

  2. Ray Lucas, Jeff Blake, Tony Wooodbury come to the top of my head at first thought..

I would think it would be hard for any coach to recruit a player to a black college unless theyre very afro centric, and even then I think they would pass. For the most part if you play college ball, you want to play in the NFL and youre much more noticeable in a top DIV 1 school than a Grambling. Look at Bruce Eugene for example. He put up ridiculous numbers but that didnt do much for his draft stock.

problem with bruce eugene is his work ethic. in new orleans i don't think he'll do too well. he's a local kid and from what i hear of him, he likes the buffetrs more than the football field.
