I remember this a little bit. What about that Giants/Cowboys game? I remember watching that game and there were onside kicks and stuff in that game as well.

What scenario makes the point differential matter? I didn't understand what was going on.

I think all 4 teams were tied at 8-8 somehow. The Panthers had to outscore the packers to get into the playoffs. Same thing went for the Giants and Dallas.

the packers and panthers were tied and it all came down to who had the most points as to who was going to the playoffs, but for that to happen the cowboys had to lose to the giants which never happened, so it didnt matter, but i remember watching the packer game that day, they were playing the arizona cardinals at lambeau in january, so its no wonder they got 49 points on them, but that goes out to prove that you should run up the score instead of being good sports and kneeling at the 1 yard line with 20 seconds left, you might miss the playoffs because of it...

That was awesome to watch. Funny to see Delhomme trying to ruin the Panthers' playoff chances. Funnier when you realize non of it mattered because Dallas won anyway.

I remember watching that from a bar in South Korea in 1999.

(Edit: Steve Beuerlein and Wesley Walls saved my fantasy team in the second half of the season and won me the championship with that game)

Wow that was a crazy video. Did anyone notice that Curtis had 34 carries, 158 yards, with one TD?
