What is the Worst Jets Fan Behavior

I hate that shit.


A couple weeks ago I was at a movie that had a bunch of swearing in it.

After it was over, some nearby kid said "shit" and a parent yells at him "Hey, there are kids in here!!"


WTF? It was in the movie they just sat through....your fault for bringing a kid to a PG-13 or R movie.

 

You can never make enough noise and that actually impacts the game.

 

Being a pussy SOJF and not being on time for kickoff and leaving early.

Our fanbase has a lot of work to do.

 

The one thing I can not stand is if/when a fan tells me to sit down because they can't see. Fuck you. It's 3rd and 1. I will remain tall.

 

I am gonna frumble later. I love this board, sometimes it opens up a whole new world of stupid shit.

 

Can we add Fireman Ed to the poll? I think Fireman Ed is the worst Jets fan behavior.

 

Yea, this is why I mainly attend college games. Old people think since they're too old to stand up everybody else should sit down. People at football games should be standing at all times. Except maybe halftime.

 

I hate to bring up the "S" word but one good thing about the MLS and soccer in general is they have supporter sections where it is standing for the whole game.

 

Indeed. Seeing how expensive these games get, I don't understand why such little passion is expressed by some fans.

 

I remember on the way back to the buses after our 41-0 demolision of the Colts back in '02, my buddies and I were shouting "NY JETS! FUCK YEAH! WOOHOOO!" and some douchebag with his son looks at us and says "Real nice! In front of my kid?" It took every ounce of restraint for us not to pummel him right in front of his fuckn' kid.

 

Look at Giants games. That's where we're headed.

 

Faking cancer. I hate when they do that.

I thought the worst Jet fan behavior is when people here disagree with me, but it wasn't listed.

When I heard this every fucking time Todd Heap caught a pass all I could think was "OH THANK GOD SOME JETS FAN BROKE EVEN".

 

When people try to convince me that SOJ is dead.

 

I think definitely sitting on your hands and not making enough noise. In the past, even with a lead, I think the SOJ mentality has kicked in (I'm VERY guilty of it) where we, as Jets fans, just expect the other shoe to drop. I have been to games where the crowd should be trying to take the opposing team out of their rhythm, but instead the Stadium got quiet waiting for us to find a way to lose.

I think right now, Rex's Jets are going a long way to changing this mentality.

I always remember being at the Falcons game in '98. I've never been to a Jets game before or since where it was that deafening start to finish. It was the best kind of madness. I wish it was always like that.

 

When fans actually think its still alive.
