Are you Kelly's sister? At least she provided a link. http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2010/10/jets_darrelle_revis_calvin_pac.html
Lets keep Denver guessing as to who will be on the field until the last moment. Just a little gamesmanship here. Also, even if he can't start, he could be used in situational packages (dime?). It's always nice to have options.
I get they're trying to be coy about showing their hand defensively, but really, sit the guy and let him get healthy for what appears to be a serious playoff run. We've proven we can win without him if necessary, what I want is him locking down every team we play's number one in December and January...
Are you not watching Rex's press conferences? Rex doesn't play games with injuries and even took a potshot at Bellichick for doing it in yesterday's press conference. And why are people posting shit without links? Get on the ball folks.
What good will it do him anyone to just sit around at home on gameday even if he is hurting? Let him at least warm up with the team, and be around for depth.
You don't have to be a doctor to realize how many athletes go down with a hamstring injury, come back thinking it's healed, and then go right back down because it was too early.
That's funny because I don't remember anyone being concerned with this when Revis announced that he was ready to play last week.
Well of course not! It's Revis. He's a defensive staple. Everyone's concern was beating Favre and getting the W. Everyone excluding his surrounding posse. His manager and best friends made it clear they wished he sat.
People complain Revis' hamstring was hurt from sitting around not playing and now that he wants and can play people complain to let him sit so his hamstring gets better. Makes sense.
i think he's fine. obviously out of game shape, and is rusty as shit. the interview/pressconf/beat writers basically are confirming that without saying it
Yeah really. I think that's pretty much what it is. Now if the team docs were to look at him and say he can't or shouldn't play, different story. Otherwise I think he plays.
you do have to be a doctor to know whether that is applicable to Revis' injury. of course, being that you aren't a doctor but obviously well versed in these scenarios, please list how many players in the last 10 years have come back from hamstring injuries, in any sport, that then re-injured it significantly, as well as players who came back and were fine. obviously you have this on hand to be so confident that it is applicable and a viable fear.
