I am guessing the Steelers game. I Don't think the Miami game since CBS will protect it plus the other game was on Monday night. Either way, should be a road game thankfully 14 Sun, Dec 12 Miami 4:15 PM 15 Sun, Dec 19 at Pittsburgh 4:15 PM 16 Sun, Dec 26 at Chicago 1:00 PM 17 Sun, Jan 2 Buffalo 1:00 PM
Here are the major rules # # Only Sunday afternoon games are subject to being moved into the Sunday night window. Only Sunday afternoon games are eligible to be moved to Sunday night, in which case the tentatively scheduled Sunday night game will be moved to an afternoon start time. Flexible scheduling will not be applied to games airing on Thursday, Saturday or Monday nights. In 2006, the NFL implemented a primetime "flexible scheduling" element on Sundays in Weeks 10-15 and in Week 17. out of what you listed i'd say week 15 against pitt. at that point we might be considered the best 2 teams in the NFL
Probably Pittsburgh which actually wouldn't be so bad now that I just realized it's gonna be away. Stop fucking around with our home games from here on out.
this is a dumb question to ask unless you list the games that would potentially flexed out of primetime
Jets vs Steelers is a 4:15 game I don't think they can flex 4:15 games only 1:00 games, also if we end up being the two best teams in the NFL, CBS will probably protect the shit out of that game.
Obviously, Miami or Pitt. If Miami can pull it's s*** out of the fire by then, I think the league will go with a divisional matchup over non-divisional. But then again, we've already played them on MNF and we may (hopefully) be competing with Pitt for a top-seed. Chicago will blow it down the road. Buffalo will clearly never happen.
+1 There's that little thing called work that kind of gets in the way. I hate draggin a$$ after the night games.
Meh, I don't know if the time thing is real or not I was going by Rex N effects I do know for sure that CBS and FOX can protect one game each every week when there's flex scheduling so I'm assuming Jets Steelers will be CBS's game to hold on to that week if we are the top two teams in the league.
As much as primetime would be nice for Steelers/Jets... I'm going to that game. I can't afford to start my drive back to Jersey at 2 AM...
I wouldn't rule out the Chicago game being chosen, although I agree at this point it looks most like to be the Pitt game. I kind of hope it's Chicago since I am taking the day after off, but who cares what I want.
There is no doubt in your mind that the Jets-Steelers game will be moved to Sunday night? Are you aware of the game that is tentatively scheduled for that Sunday night? Unless either the Packers or Patriots fall apart by December, I believe NBC will keep the Packers at Patriots game in Week 15.
It looks like we can remove the Chicago game http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/10/14/report-no-soldier-field-flex-games-for-the-bears/
