    Be careful.

The MCG crowd will go ape$#it, with a 'correlation does not equal causation' argument...despite historical evidence to the contrary....

Hopefully he stays 100% and Mevi$ shuts down Butthead tonight.

Didn't really merit it's own thread, but...kinda funny.

Catfight in the locker room, now Moss is in Minny...Coincidence?

Correlation doesn't imply causation? Uh oh, I'd better change my class notes!

Hard to believe that anyone at this point thinks that him missing training camp had absolutely nothing to do with getting injured, since the only way that could be the case is if you believe training camp has no use at all (at least for cornerbacks). Was it guaranteed to happen? No. Is the fact that he got injured proof that missing camp caused it? No. But it is only reasonable to think that missing camp increases the chances of injury, especially of the pulled muscle variety.

He's blown any chance of winning DPOY already, so from my point of view it would be nice if he just got out on the field and started playing well, without any drama. I wouldn't mind if he stopped running his mouth about a guy who beat him like a drum earlier in the season either.

Because it wasn't absolutely certain he was going to play, and as far as I'm aware hes still listed as probable.
I posted this after he tweeted that he would be playing.
    Ok Kenny?

of course revis is going to be sly about being 100% or not. gotta leave some doubt in the vikes mind. favre obviously tests him the first series. everyone will expect it the 1st play so they likely decoy moss the 1st couple of plays and then strike after they get a 1st down or so.

this is a tough matchup for the jets IMO even with a healthy revis. the quartet of apet, harvin, moss, and shiancoe could be lethal for any defense.

bottom line - kepp em off the field. if the jets can produce at least 3 drives better than 70yards they'll be fine.

Lets be fair here, he got beat on one go route on a play where the defense wasn't organized, lets not make it seem like Revis was beat all 1st half either.

I dont care if he has a so-so game just so long as he doesn't get injured again. I hate it when players have nothing to play for (in terms of a contract).

That's what being a cornerback is often about - one big play and it's a bad day.

I'm not saying that he was playing poorly before he got hurt, but I think that when you get beat badly and pull a muscle trying to cover someone, making a point a few weeks later that he was dogging it in the same game is pretty stupid.

I thought Revis handled last season remarkably well, both on and off the field. I think he's handled this year (including the holdout) pretty badly, especially off the field. IMO he should just shut up and play.

Childress is going to make moss go deep on every play in the 1st quarter to try to re-aggravate that hammy. Thats what I would do. Then when Revis is hurting and we gotta put cro on that side, they're gonna take their shots. Hopefully Moss slouches like he did in the second half of the NE game. Otherwise, I don't think Cro can take Moss at his best...hope I'm wrong.

You were doing so well, before writing that.
Cro's already covered Moss once this season, and very very well too

But like Revis said, and I believe the fuck...Moss is a slouch and showed his laziness in the second half of that game. Cro only had to cover half-ass Moss. Once again, I hope I'm wrong.

Not only is he talking shit about the guy who pissed down his throat and hurt his feelings, but he's refusing to give any credit to his team mates who handled Moss better. He's a douche.

After he sends Moss deep the first 3 times for 3 incompletions and maybe an int. they will then have to wait 15 minutes for the cart to come out and pick up Favre in 4 different pieces

From the name of this thread, I thought Revis was going to play offense, defense, and special teams.
