I wonder what the odds are he ends up being a Lion?
looks like a good college prospect, will be interesting to see where he plays. if he does turn into an NFL prospect, the Lions need to take him off their board. He will forever be compared to what his father did for the franchise, and as a result he will never be given a fair shake to develop into the best player he could be. Also no chance he turns out to be as good as his father, no way...
I know it doesn't matter at all, but I'm surprised his vert is only 31 inches. That's weak, especially for someone that fast.
4.4 in the forty will make a lot of people miss. I know it's only high school but some of those plays are just sick. He looks like a man among boys out there. One more thing I noticed. Towards the end of the video Sanders was playing defense. He took a Pick-6 to the House!
That's really cool! Good luck to him! The comparisons to his dad will be a bitch. I still play a video of his dad running every now and then. He was awesome!
The kid looks good in those clips, but does he score every time he touches the ball? And he doesn't remind me much of his father except in a couple of those runs. Mostly I saw a lot of shitty tackling and good blocking. Sure, he is fast... but so is everyone in the NFL.
Something tells me he's going to be fine. http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2010/10/alabama_recruiting_barry_sande.html
+1...........Barry is my favorite all time football player. No one ran like Barry Sanders, he was amazing.
i watched a special on him and his son. His son has made it abundantly clear he does not want to be compared to his dad and hes gone out of his way to be humble through the process. his coaches say hes one of the hardest working and down to earth players theyve ever coached he definitely displays his dads start n stop ability. but alas Barry Sanders is one of a kind
