This makes no sense. Jets are Pats biggest rival in the AFC East now. Revis is the Jets star player and can shutdown any wide receiver except possibly Moss. If you trade away Moss Jets will shutdown one of your receiver one-on-one and double cover the other. This trade would put the Pats at a huge strategic disadvantage against a rival that is already giving them a lot of trouble. Makes no sense for the Pats. Hurt this season for a draft pick in the bush? I hope this happens.
No way we have to double cover another with Revis and Cromartie on this team and no Moss on the Patriots.
Maybe the Pats have to bribe another team to take him by including one of their own first round picks. The Dude just can't STFU! hmy:  CM
This is already being denied by both Childress and the Patriot front office, so we'll see. The Patriots will get a #3 compensation pick if Randy just leaves next year so the trade would have to be worth more then that.
thought? Just thinking about this Randy Moss trade. Why would NE do that now? Is it to get picks back from Minnesota and then trade for.......Vincent Jackson??? Just came to my mind and would be interesting. He is no Randy Moss, but younger version of a good, freakish receiver. I dont know if SD would trade him to NE. Just a thought guys. Go Jets!!!!!
I'm not one to consider discussion of race to be racism, but use your head when it comes to the phrasing.
Incarcerated bob is saying the vikes are giving up a first round pick.... That would be a steal by the pats and I would expect Jackson in the pats facility by the end of the week.
So the Vikings traded Randy Moss because he quit on them and wanted more money, so there gonna trade for him back 5 years later because he quit on his third team and wants more money? Anyone else see the irony??
If this is true, it is an incredibly ballsy move by the Pats. I know they have had really good success collecting high draft picks for aging players, but they are right in the midst of heated divisional race. They already have a weak stable of running backs and then they trade away their top receiving threat. I concede that Welker may be statistically better, but without Moss on the field it is hard to imagine he will put up the same numbers. I just hope it happens after Monday.
