    Edwards easily.

He drops too many passes and his attitude and inconsistency makes Jerricho much more reliable.

Yea he has a hell of a lot of talent, but that's not enough sometimes.

Cotchery is like our Amani Toomer...I want him to retire as a Jet and get a ring here

I dont think edwards is going to command the kind of money people expect from him.

You gotta keep the cotch man. Yeah holmes and edwards are more talented but cotch is cheap, does his job, and stays outa trouble.

Cant let a guy like that go

Me too but talent-wise he's inferior... that's why I'm so torn on this!

I'd keep Holmes and Cotchery. Edwards and Holmes are both going to have suspensions on record after the DUI is dealt with. I wouldn't want to have both of my starting wideouts potentially looking at long suspensions if they screw up again. Cotchery is steady and as the coverage rotates away from him as it inevitably will given Holmes and Keller on the field he'll become a big factor again. Also you really don't want the amount of cap space devoted to WR that it would take to keep Holmes and Edwards longterm. There's room for one star WR per team and that will be Holmes.

How many passes has Edwards dropped this year? Looks pretty damn reliable to me.

lolwut? who is gonna trade a 1st or a 2nd for Edwards/Holmes when they dont have a contract past this season? and who the hell would trade even a 2nd for either of them even if they had a contract?!

and by 2, you mean 1, right?

lol this board is so knowledgeable......

and it is likely Holmes and Cotchery (although it is very likely that he is going nowhere to begin with, real debate is Holmes vs Edwards). you cant undervalue having a reliable possession receiver unless you have one waiting in the wings already. our next best possession man is Keller, and brad smith wont cut it in the slot.

edwards has to be a priority

he has such great chemistry with sanchez and is such a great mismatch to have with his size

cotchery u keep cuz his salary is very cheap

holmes is a toss up for me cuz he hasnt played yet but id be very hesitant to go longterm with him just cuz he is 1 blunt away from a yr off

in a perfect world we lock up everyone and franchise holmes

I could see the Jets making some tough decisions to free up money to keep all three. You always want a young QB to have as many weapons as possible.

I think you're knowledgeable enough to know a 5 year career (plus 4 years of college too) sample size means more than 4 games.

Guys, the Cotchery part was hypothetical.

He isn't going anywhere, it's barely even an option.
