In a couple weeks this will be the look on 3rd down: JT Ellis Pryce Pace Harris Scott 5 DB's That's some serious pass-rushing power there and there's a TON of options on whom to rush where and when. In this formation, even a straight 4-man rush vs. max-protect looks scary. A 7-man blitz (add Jim Leonard on a 3rd-level blitz through the A-GAP) is even scarier. Pryce gives us that interior pass-rusher that can free up somebody else.
Pretty much what i was going to say to him. Why would one team want to help another team out. Everyone is trying to compete to be the best and take any edge they can to do that. But hes right we are obviously such good friends as we all heard the pleasant words before our week 1 game.
Ok so mangini wasnt influenced by his relationship with tannenbaum when he traded us gold for dogshit? I know mangini isnt GM,but he has/had some sway on shit. PS:Jetblue you came off as a dick.
I can't post links but on the jets facebook page they just posted a pretty awesome interview they did with him earlier. Exactly what I wanted to hear from him
first order of business Rex and Tanny did when Rex was hired was raid the Ravens squad. yeah, the relationship between Rex, who was undoubtedly pissed he got passed up for that job the year before, and the Ravens front office I'm sure is buddy-buddy. or maybe you are right, maybe the Ravens gave Rex the drop that he should sign those guys because they are pretty good but they don't want them. at least you were able to pick up on that. smartest thing you've said in this thread.
Not to dogpile, but you can't possibly believe what happened with Mangini/the Browns is the rule and not the exception.
Im talking about practice squad guys and shit, or first dibs on trades.. rex didnt leave on bad terms, if we love him they probably did too. Why fuck up a relationship with any GM's? you guys(me included) have no idea how Ozzie Newsome might take this. And honestly I dont care about any other teams help or any of that shit, but in life Ive learned that its not smart to burn bridges.
its a non issue, you heard rex he said that ozzie dind't give him a call. in other words if the ravens GM would have called rex and told him not to do it he wouldn't have. remember also rex got an OK from clemens before putting in a claim on trent edwards. we don't burn bridges. if teh ravens wanted him its their GMs fault for not giving rex a heads up
Hey, for all we know, Pryce picked up the phone right after he was cut and called Rex: "I've been cut and want to play for you. What do you say?" Shit... no brainer. "I'm sending a limo. He'll be there in half an hour. Pack your bags." ANOTHER GREAT ACQUISITION!
that's a retardedly tripping gif man.. i'm ashamed to say, that's the longest i've ever had to stare at a dude's thing.
