No question to me, this guy was our best off season pickup. The level at which he is performing is fantastic, but his knowledge of the game will be a huge asset for both Mark and Shonn this year.
good article - thanks for posting. those quotes back to the chargers (certainly my least favourite non-AFCE team) were cool.
We all want the Jets to win a championship, every Jet player needs to read this article and win for LT. Whatever it fucking takes!! Great read!!!
Great stuff, how could you not love Bart Scott? It'd be great for LT if we take them out in the playoffs again.
Awesome article. Throughly enjoyable to read. Imagine if we can get Greene going? This offense would be unstopable
My main concern is that LT will have an empty gas tank down the stretch if we use him up too much now... I hope they can get S. Green playing at a high level again so he can shoulder some more of the work load.
green is one of those guys who needs touches. he's a battering ram and he wears down the D then breaks a big one. giving him a carry here and there isn't using him right
The downside to that is that he too wears down. And that may be part of the reason why he's not getting many carries right now. If he's fresh for the stretch run it could be a powerful weapon against teams that are worn down.
sidenote: Braylon glad that his teammates still "ride with him" is a poor choice in the wake of a DUI
• Linebacker Bart Scott(notes): “Man up. Drop your balls. Have a pair. Say it. LT’s a lot classier than I am. I’d have fired back with an atomic bomb.” (Have I mentioned that I love interviewing Bart Scott? I love Bart
This was an excellent article. Seems like LT really enjoys playing here.......I am hoping this turns into an exciting season.
I'm still sort of confused to this day...I heard from several different sources LT was exceptionally good at avoiding or softening big hits but then I hear he took a lot of big hits. If he avoided a lot of big hits and his body is "younger" than a typical 30+ year old back's body, then the explanation for his performance so far could simply just be his injured foot and legs hindered him for a season and a half and now he's finally healthy and rejuvenated.

Loved Cromartie's quote: "• Cornerback Antonio Cromartie(notes), Tomlinson’s former Chargers teammate: “When there are snakes in the grass, until you cut that grass, that’s the only way you really see ‘em.”"
